Dallas airport lounges tend to be nicer than some other airports. This one has showers, you need to ask the front desk for a key. I wish the water was a little warmer, apparently it doesn’t get super hot. The food included bagels, oatmeal, fruit, bread, banana bread, juice, tea and coffee. They also have a bar in the far back that offers free well drinks and wine. It’s a long hall to get to the back and it seems to get louder the further back you get. There is a quiet area which is nice and also conference rooms and work stations. They don’t open til 4am. I heard they will soon have dine-in option soon at this location. It has already been introduced to their London lounge. Don’t mind have layovers in Dallas that’s for sure!

The nicest if the Admiral’s clubs. Large, spacious with lots of rooms. Food and drink are standard throughout Admiral Clubs. This puts those amenities in the best light possible. Now if American could emulate this club throughout the system…

This was my first experience in an Admirals’ Club, and well, color me impressed.(I don’t have the credit card needed to get in, I’m just lucky enough to know someone who does.) The atmosphere is very relaxed and even rather quiet, which is odd for an airport. It’s like the eye of the hurricane: there are no people rushing around, just folks kicking back while they wait for their flights. In addition to the peace and quiet, you get your pick of well drinks at the bar for free. They also have a variety of light snacks laid out, including vegetable soup, pita chips and hummus, crackers and cheese, cookies, and brownie bites. The food doesn’t have to be good, but it is — you will eat better here for free than you will in the entire rest of the airport for exorbitant amounts.

I came here as a guest with a paid member and the environment took me by surprise. It’s wonderful to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main airport terminals and relax in such a peaceful environment. From so many snack choices it’s amazing to just hang out and enjoy some you time before ur connecting info flight. Nothing extra super fancy but this is my first time coming to a spot like this so for that I give it 5 stars. Lots of snacks, drinks, and comfy chairs. So much area to just relax.

If you’ve never been into a paid membership airline club, you’re in for a treat. The Admiral’s club has light snacks which vary depending on the time of the day. They have lots of reading materials that you’re generally free to take with you to read on the plane. For many people, the biggest highlight is the complimentary well drinks and domestic beers at the bar. If you’re a frequent flyer or have several layovers a year, this place is worth it’s membership fee in gold. Their staffers at the front desks will be able to get you into any seat on a flight that might be available. They’re the best of the best agents that you could hope to deal with. Dropping into a location like this for a quick snack, a quick drink, and seat upgrade will change the way you fly.

I really ended up being a fan of this club! It was large, clean, great snack selections and makes having the membership worthwhile. There was nothing that was super amazing so the rating is 4!

Like others have said, if you are lucky enough to have access to airline lounges, then you are lucky. You avoid crowded seats, fighting for an outlet to plug your devices, the staff here will assist you with any airline problems, etc. It’s quiet and peaceful and everyone acts entitled and loads up on the free drinks and snacks. Great location in C Terminal.

This place is clean… I guess they have that going for them. I travel a lot for work mostly with actual good airlines. It is humorous and annoying when I come to a place like this. Oh thanks, you mean I can use this ticket for a bottle of water? Haha what a joke.

I consider my self lucky, it is better to have access at this clubs than none at all. It just makes life simpler when you travel. Depending on the time of day and the airport amenities will change… some are better than others but i have never had a problem with service or access to connectivity and staying productive as you are waiting. This comes specially helpful when you are delay for a few hours and some time more than a few. If i do get stuck on a long delay then i just go and get a 10 dll pillow to sneak in a small nap.

They do free entry for military… if you are traveling on orders, I guess you aren’t military enough if you aren’t moving.

A quiet respite from the morning rush at DFW. The value of quiet and personal space is understated in my opinion. This lounge affords both, in addition to complimentary snacks and beverages that are sure to help you either prep for, or recover from, a flight. Absolutely zero complaints on this fine December morning. Very grateful for AA’s support of uniformed service members!

People who complain about the AA lounges are just a bunch of whiny, spoiled brats. If you are lucky enough to get access to one of these lounges, CONSIDERYOURSELFLUCKYANDFORTUNATEENOUGHTHATYOUDON’T HAVETOWAITWITHTHEMASSESOFRIFF-RAFFATTHEGATE. They are all spacious, comfy alternatives to the general airport with free WIFI and beverages and snacks. Not to mention the bathrooms are also an upgrade from the public restrooms. Stop bitching and moaning, take a seat and be glad you don’t have to sit next to the smelly dude at the gate farting up a storm.

What misery. 1). I am not allowed to book an earlier connecting flight so when I get there with plenty of time to catch the earlier flight, I’m informed that although the plane has 30 open seats at takeoff, I am not allowed to take the earlier flight unless I chuck over $ 75… Even though American Airlines has the worst percentage of delayed flights out of the big five airlines and there was a 23.6% chance of my next flight being delayed, statistically. 2) I wait for my next flight, which boards and then after 20 minutes(zero air conditioning) is de-planed after the pilot realizes that an earlier reported issue won’t allow us to fly in the rain(even though the plane had been kept in service with this known issue). 3) Walk 30 gates to board new flight. Get on plane and a technician is true to fix a seat which has fully collapsed. They get this sorted after 15 – 20 minutes. 4) Zero air conditioning while we wait on new plane 5) Indicator light(which the airline, again, knew about prior to boarding has now grounded us for another 30 minutes. …stay tuned for the exciting climax to see how this ridiculous airline can continue to inconvenience me after not kindly allowing me an open seat on an earlier flight. If you can’t find me I’ll be in the laveratory, face down, trying to drown myself in the blue stuff.

2015 Unilocal100CHALLENGE — 071⁄100 I had never visited an AA Admirals Club location until two days ago when my dad took me to both the New York LaGuardia location and this one at the Dallas Fort Worth location. A few days ago I was flying NY LaGuardia to layover @ DFW to LAX. The first Admirals Club I visited was the LaGuardia one, which was much more than I had imagined and pretty modern and looked upscale. The Admirals Club at DFW in Terminal C was MUCH larger than the LaGuardia one. Unfortunately, it did not seem as new and I could definitely see some wear and tear on several of the seats. Perhaps it is because it is located in Terminal C, which is an older terminal in this airport. I liked that it was huge and very quiet. I came in around 9pm on a Sunday night and it was pretty deserted, with tons of different«rooms”/seating areas providing separation between the various patrons. I saw at least two café areas, which offered a coffee machine, some free sustenance… although I came later in the evening when it appeared they had kept all of the free food/drinks. Disappointing! I liked how large this Admirals Club was, but was a bit disappointed in the lack of amenities. Even though I came in later in the evening, it would have been nice to have some coffee, or even water/water bottles! I had a headache and wanted some water to drink with my pain reliever pills, yet this Admirals Club didn’t even have any water for me to drink. Sad :( Will probably be back as it is at least a much better option than dealing with the«peasants» sitting at the gates on the regular level of the terminal, but I think it definitely could use some upgrades/work.

This is an OK lounge. For being in AAs hub it is actually pretty bad. However, the one in terminal D(I think it is D) is way better. This one does the job. It has a bar and the snacks are ok but the views are pretty bad — might as we’ll be in a windowless room.

It’s a great place to relax and unwind. I just wish that Admirals Clubs offered a few more selections for snacks and breakfast continental style for their members

The 2 stars are for the staff and free wifi but as with every other AC I’ve been to, the beverage and food selection is dreadful, absolutely dreadful. Why is it that every Asian or European airline has lounges offerings fresh hot food selections and a decent bar? For Free! AA charges a premium for substandard food and drink that is below par to even the food courts in the terminal. It’s absolutely insulting that they would treat their PAYING customers with such disdain. At $ 50 a visit or $ 450 a year, it’s just not worth it. Now that most airports have free wifi, I’m going to let my membership lapse, AA certainly haven’t earned my business.

Always a clean friendly place to wait for your next flight. Complimentary drinks and snacks. The staff are always helpful with flight changes. I miss the admirals club in airports that aren’t large enough to have one.

This is a nice quiet place to escape the crowds but you are going to pay for the privilege. The vibe here is snooty McSnooterville. I’m not sure why the wealthy people here are so smug and uptight. The admirals club in LA was so laid back and chill. Anyhow, what you will experience here is really comfy chairs, simple snacks, really cool coffee machines, fruit, cyber café, showers, and a bar that sells premaid café sandwiches for 10 bucks. I ordered a bloody marry and it was meh, ok. It came in a low ball glass filled with mostly ice and had the taste of an off the shelf mix. Nothing fancy. Daytime drinking, yes please! Hey don’t judge it was one drink, ok! Unless I had a long layover I wouldn’t go out of my way to pay to come here. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice place and I enjoy coming here, it’s just not a life changing experience.

The American Airlines Admirals Club at Dallas Fort Worth C terminal is in a great location just across from gate 19. There’s a cool neon American Eagle right across from the entrance of the lounge. You check in on the first level and then take the stairs or elevator up to the lounge. There is a decent sized bar and several small areas by the huge windows or by televisions. Of course there are showers and bathrooms inside the lounge. Unfortunately, the food pickings are standard pretty standard limited to red and green apples, cookies and pretzels. There is a self service coffee bar and of course complimentary beer, wine, and spirits. at the main bar. See my pictures.
