Treated my man here for Brunch, but I ended up not eating. This was not the place for me. I visited this place over 10 years ago with some coworkers but it was for lunch not brunch. I remember having a good time. The ambiance was nice. Hotel is nice of course. But fast forward to this current visit. If you are dieting or a seafood or a gotta have a Omelet type person then this place is for you. But if you love your Beef and carbs like me, then I would not recommend it. I walked in a circle looking for the type of food i liked and it wasn’t there. If you like little cheese bites and salami sandwich meat then you would have had a great ol time. But this time I wasn’t impressed ATALL and will not be going back. Seems like they cater more to the seafood lovers, I didn’t appreciate that at all. My day was ruined. Café on the Green call me if yawl start getting some High cholesterol, clog your arteries, make you gain about 10 pounds overnight food. Call me i will come running. Some of the Unilocal reviewers made it sound like Café on the Green lays it all out and like the food is never ending and the best ever. Where?

I have tried many restaurants for brunch in the DFW area, and except for Bread Winners all of them have been consistent — good food, not expensive, southern-unhealthy-tasty fare. Probably the only exception so far had been Fearing’s at the Ritz-Carlton, whose quality is a notch above the rest. To celebrate our daughter first month we decided to treat ourselves with an outing at the Four Seasons Las Colinas… And boy if I am glad we did! Let’s start with the service: top notch! We got there early because we needed to feed our little girl before we could start eating; they seated us Ina quiet part of the dining room, with plenty of space for the stroller, and also helped us with a couple of things we needed to get her milk ready. Fantastic. Then, the food: while this is a buffet brunch, it’s no typical American buffet, it’s more like Asia here. Lots of items — from prime ribs carved in front of you to lots of seafood, quality European cheese, salads, breakfast food, soup, even a kid’s menu buffet(parents take note!), all topped by a huge dessert buffet including a make-your-own cheesecake bar. What else do you want in life? Food quality was constantly excellent — there wasn’t an item I tried that didn’t taste VERY good. The price includes also unlimited coffee beverages, teas, and mimosas(I assume bloody Mary’s as well). While $ 45 per person doesn’t make this an every Sunday brunch, the price tag completely justifies the quality of the meal. Take here your family and friends and you’ll have a great time, especially because no one rushes you out(we sat down at 10.40a and left at 1.15p, and so did most of other patrons). We’ll definitely be back!

Front of hotel and back by the rear door smelled like a rest room. Like a sewage problem or grease trap. Chefs are clearly talented and the quality of beef was very nice but they really oversalted the steak — too much to really enjoy. Even more overpowering than Outback. Kind of disappointing for $ 46 and no sides. Crème brûlée($ 16) had a very nice presentation and taste but had clearly just been taken out of the refrigerator. Almost too cold to enjoy properly. Service was polite. Free parking closer to MacArthur. Ambiance very nice.

Stopped in for snack! Kids meals are huge! Cheese plate rocks! Service was excellent. A little pricey but to be expected. Nice environment.

This is the upscale dining in Las Colinas. Very inviting place, well managed with staff, and top hotel dining for the area. You’ll feel like your out of town at a resort… that’s what it is. During the day, you have great views of the property and pool area while you dine on the patio area. Foods are creative, and with a «our presentation» is different attitude… in combining traditional fare with upscale hotel thought process. Sometimes they have music, especially on holiday brunches. Btw, brunch in a great choice here.

Was staying at the Four Seasons Hotel and I adore this restaurant their Sunday brunch is absolutely fabulous. And breakfast brunch is amazing as well. The servers take care of you and are extremely good at what they do. Dinner was just as great.

I had a business lunch at Café on the Green. It was about what I expected it would be — if you’ve eaten at one hotel restaurant, you’ve eaten at them all. We were seated very quickly even though there were several large parties in the dining room. As I followed the hostess I couldn’t help but notice the crazy carpet and wonder who approved that purchase. The menu had a nice variety to choose from and our waiter was excellent. I had the butternut squash risotto with grilled chicken. It was topped with Brussels sprouts and shiitake mushrooms. It was very tasty and I enjoyed it. One thing I didn’t like was that my diet Coke came in a can. A nice restaurant should be filling my drink frequently and that doesn’t happen with canned sodas. Once I added the chicken to the dish it was $ 26 which I felt was high for a lunch. I wasn’t paying, but I am still conscious of prices. If you like the look and feel of outdated country clubs for lunch, this is your spot. Otherwise, I would choose another option. The pool area looked beautiful and I hear the spa is amazing. So, maybe try those things instead.

I had Sunday brunch with the family here(10 people) based off past reviews and honestly I was amazed at how varied the selection was especially in relation to the price. They had almost every breakfast item you would expect at an international hotel breakfast buffet and I have been to quite a few.(Sushi anyone?) This will be my Sunday brunch spot with friends or family over for quite a while PS, I tried everything.

Perfect for brunch. Best service, atmosphere, and breakfast or lunch destination in DFW. Their coffee is sublime; notably better than most hotel coffee, 5-star or not. A terrific place to entertain out-of-town visitors as well as clients. I’ve tried most everything on the menu, you really can’t go wrong. But the traditional brunch offerings are really something special.

I went here for lunch and I loved the food! The service was very good and the restaurant feels very light and airy because of the windows all around. I had the portobello sandwich with the chipotle aioli and a side of french fries, and I loved it all!

The family brought my Mother here for her birthday. We were concerned because she can be very picky and I communicated that to the staff. There were 12 of us, so they set us up in our own room, which was just perfect. We went for the Sunday brunch and the food, as usual, was outstanding. There is a wide selection including a whole room for desserts. I will definitely be back.

I had an excellent meal here. I was dining alone since I was traveling for business. When I first arrived I was the only one in the restaurant. I thought this was a bad sign but it turned out not to be the case. The menu is fairly small. But there were several items on the menu that I wanted to try. So I had a fairly large meal. I started with a wedge salad and then I ordered the fillet of beef andFrench fries and I also ordered a side order of Jalapeño mac & cheese. Everything was delivered quickly and the salad was cold and delicious and the entrée and side dish were delivered hot. My steak was prepared perfectly and it was quite delicious. And the jalapeño mac & cheese was also very good and a unique menu item. This was a very good meal and I would highly recommend eating here. The service was also very good.

Sunday brunch; $ 45 + tax each. A bit on the high end. With a wide selection buffet, egg chef and unending refills of REALLYGOOD orange juice and coffee; make sure to come hungry. I would give 5 stars but that price was too high for the quality of food and service. The food is definitely not your hearty, homemade-like breakfast but rather more upper class; no waffles or pancakes here(I believe you can order them separately). The service however was superb; refills are quick and orders quick to be filled. This place is ideal for a long brunch meeting or a create place to catch up with a friend. The scenery is beautiful; there is great service and although the piano and bass player can get a little loud, gotta admit it’s a fancy touch that doesn’t hurt.

I visited Café on The Green located on The Four Seasons sprawling campus during a business brunch meeting. The service was great, falling slightly short of perfection. The spread was generous; made to order omelet station, fruit and cheese, seafood and sushi, breakfast meats, as well as a room dedicated to those with a hopeless sweet tooth. Definitely worthy of a visit if you are in the Dallas area.

I’m reviewing solely on their Sunday brunch! I have to say it is simply SUPERB! Good quality food & to die for desserts. Before u start eating, visit the dessert room first! If you love sweets, you’ll want to save some room for dessert. There are 28 varieties!!! How much can u eat? Challenge yourself!!! These are not mass produced desserts. Each piece is crafted beautifully with TLC! Kudos to the pastry chef! Service is excellent too!

Café On The Green is the main restaurant located in the Four Seasons Resort. You can enjoy a nice Sunday Brunch or a great dinner. It’s a great experience either way but know that it is a bit pricey. My Overall Rating — 4 Stars(Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere — Located inside the Four Seasons Resort, the restaurant resides close to their putting green, and during the day it’s quite a view(hence the name). In the evening it has a very warm, intimate, and formal vibe. The restaurant is definitely showing its age though compared to similar Four Seasons. The carpet reminds me of the late 80s and it feels like it needs a makeover to match the food. ½ Star. Service — As with most if not all Four Seasons, the service sets the bar. During dinner, our multiple servers helped our party of three, making sure everything was perfect. One person in our party was trying to pace herself and only partially ate her soup, and they though she didn’t like it and wanted to replace it on the house with something else. Again, they truly want to make your visit perfect. 1 Star. Food — Their brunch is good but not great. But I’d rather focus on the dinner. Here, the dishes are unique, inventive, and look amazing when brought out. I would have taken photos but felt weird because it was a more mature, sophisticated crowd. I didn’t want to be singled out as «one of those people». Back to the food — I started with the spicy bison tartar. It was delicately tender, had a kick, and came with little toast points that added a nice crunch. For my main dish I went with the Black Bean & Quinoa Masa Cake. This dish was so incredible and creative — it was like eating a deconstructed tortilla soup. The Masa Cake was warm, most, and was surrounded by Southwestern flavors. I can honestly say I was extremely surprised it was so good. I finished the meal with a nice bread pudding, although I wish I ordered my buddy’s crème brule just because how it was presented. The biggest downside is that it’s EXPENSIVE, so this is definitely splurge spot. 1 ½ Star. Will I Return? — Yes — I’m taking photos next time. Honestly, Café On The Green exceeded all my expectations and I’m trying to think of an excuse to go back. 1 Star. My Unilocal Rating Scale(Sum of all parts): 1 Star — Atmosphere — Is it a cool dive? Perhaps an upscale place? No matter the type, atmosphere plays a big part and I’ll give a star if I like it or thinks it has great charm. 1 Star — Service — You can have a great meal with bad service. But that’s also what can make a five star joint drop to four. It’s important to the dining experience that service is great and on point. 2 Stars — Food — I’ll award up to two stars for the food, since this is the main reason we dine out. Sometimes the extra star is given for value, but it’s really all about the food. 1 Star — Will I come back? — If I know for a fact I’ll return, I’ll give this a star. A place has to make an impression for me to return. Each Category can be given up to 1 star except food(2 stars) because I consider all these categories important to the overall dining experience. I will sum them up to provide my final Unilocal score.

Every single dish I had here was unreal! Started with the scallops then the wild arugula salad and finished with lamb chops. This place is a top 5 restaurant taste wise I’ve ever been to. My wife got the quinoa and black bean cake and absolutely loved it. Next time I’m back in town best believe I will make a stop in here to dine! We went late on a Sunday night so atmosphere wasn’t crazy(as expected) but service was very good.

Most glorious and decadent brunch in Dallas — hands down. To sum it up, it’s $ 45/person(steep, yes, but worth every penny), buffet style with the exception of waffles and pancakes available to order, and includes 2 brunchy cocktails. Definitely make a reservation, and know that 17% is added to the final bill. It’s an elegant atmosphere that stops short of being overly stuff and includes a gorgeous view of the pool area. I’m pretty sure I heard angels singing as I rounded the cheese and charcuterie collection and made a beeline for the seafood table. I’m a sucker for smoked salmon, ceviche, jumbo peeled shrimp, and crab claws(all of which are options). And my third trip(no shame) took major perseverance and focus to make it all the way through the gluttonous gauntlet to the dessert ROOM. I greatly appreciate the expediency of plate clearing so that only me and my friends knew of my trip count. A word to the wise, do not plan anything post-brunch. You will be delightfully incapacitated due to food coma.

Lovely. That’s what think of when I think of their Sunday brunch. Took my lovely mother here for a lovely buffet. I know what people think(because I’m one of them) when the word«buffet» is thrown out like yesterdays trash. But ya’ll, this is legit. It’s the perfect lovely size, not banquet hall size, which usually gives me anxiety and it always ends poorly(i.e. me with heartburn and/or other painful activities). I feel like I’m in the black hole and I’m never getting out! It’s lovely set up: fresh omelet bar, chefs dish of the day(ours was a chipotle shrimp with butternut squash risotto!), salad bar, cheese platters, sushi, antipasti, prime rib, fresh pasta, veggies, stuffed french toast, eggs benedict, bacon(three kinds!), crab claws, shrimp cocktail, smoked fishes and fruit! They even have a childrens station with PB&J, pasta, crackers and mac and cheese. It’s even at their eye level! Lovely. OHHHH and an ENTIRE room dedicated to desserts. Win. Bottomless mimosas included in the price, another win. The servers were quick to clean up our many plates and my cup of coffee(and mimosa) was always full. Some FYI’s: Make a reservation. A 17% service fee is added to the final bill, which is the tip. You can always add more if you like. We did. They also have a lovely piano player and a saxophonist! Which again, was lovely while I chowed down on my food. Didn’t make me feel as gross… sort of. Beautiful views of the grounds, lovely setting and just a great day. Worth every penny. Lovely.

I’ve been here a couple times for the Christmas brunch and once for the New Years Eve brunch; every visit has been exceptional. The food offerings have been consistent to deliver quite a selection of savory meats such as carved prime rib, fresh fish, and even some sushi(that may not be as great as you would expect from a Japanese restaurant, but it’s decent). Other than the various salads, tasty mashed potatoes, and seafood offerings, they do offer an assortment of breakfast items such as your usual bacon, sausage, and an omelet station. The dessert — They offer a WIDE selection of dessert in a dessert room, so remember to save some room! Their desserts include many chocolaty, nutty offerings that would make your dentist cry, topped with powdered sugar, more chocolate, and a chocolate fondu fountain to dip strawberries, marshmallows, and your face in(if that makes you happy). If you’re not satisfied after this, then(1) You’re just too hard to please, or(2) You grew up in Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Overall, a fine dining experience at an elegant hotel buffet. Definitely worth a visit on special occasions or for a Sunday brunch.
