Canal Cleaners

Well, this place had been very good to me… until this week. Typically, I would drop off my clothes in the after-​hours drop box and they would be ready to go the next day after 5pm. I’d only had one issue where my cleaning bag was stuck in the box so my clothes didn’t get cleaned until a day later. My fault. Moved on.
This week, though, I put my clothes in the drop box Wednesday night and listened for the bag to drop (to make sure it didn’t get stuck again), and went back Friday to pick them up. THEY WERE STILL IN THE DROP BOX. The young man came back inside and said his manager should’ve checked it in the morning. No apology, no attempt to fix anything. Two mornings had passed and my stuff was still in there! Not to mention at least two other customers’ things. The sign on the box says if you drop them off in the box, they’ll be ready to go after 5pm the next day they’re open. I needed the clothes for Monday, but this place isn’t open weekends, so I had to just take my clothes with me. I’m sorry, but that’s completely unacceptable. I’m not sure if management has changed or what, but this place used to be a lot more attentive and had great customer service. They used to see me pull up in my car and would already have my clothes rung up by the time I walked inside. Not anymore, unfortunately. Now I have to go find another place.
