One more reason to love Chipotle(as if I need anymore!) for their support of clean eating, humanely raised animals, and farm to table ingredients. A really wonderful free event on a perfectly beautiful day. They attracted a mixed crowd of all ages for their first visit to the Metroplex, a generous variety of vendors sharing their knowledge, and several area bands to add to the enjoyment. Surprisingly large variety of craft beers and I especially enjoyed the Tabasco tour and Chipotle’s guacamole demonstration. And who doesn’t love Ben & Jerry’s? The kefir pops melted in the yummy margaritas were a must have too! They also had cooking demos and several agricultural education areas. Overall a great event and I hope they continue! The only drawback was signage and parking. Coming from the airport area we did circle a bit before finding it and the parking was in a stacked garage. Bit of a pita getting in and out. Next year if in the same spot, and you’re familiar with the area, park elsewhere and enjoy a walk to the event. It will be much more enjoyable than sitting in your car for eons hoping to get out of a cement tower before dawn :)
