Computer Repaired While U Wait

I took my HP laptop to this shop which I bought new. They told me the mother board was burnt and it would need replaced. I was told $ 210 to repair. I told them to go ahead with the repairs. It was ready the next day with a fee of $ 290. He gave me the motherboard that he told me he removed from my laptop. Not really paying attention till after I got home and the part had Toshiba stamped on it. I knew I was taken. Not only by the fee but no HP laptop would have a Toshiba parts inside. This place are scamming customers and I hope everyone voids these crooks

The manager was arrogant and disrespectful. He misrepresented him self and his position in the company. When asked for his basic contact information he refused to provide it. That was a huge **RED FLAG*** I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. What a joke. The technician’s work area was a complete disaster zone. Nothing appeared to be grounded and the technicians were handling hardware with out anti-​static guards. There was dust and debris everywhere where customer equipment was being stowed away. The manager was either drunk or doesn’t speak English. Perhaps Immigration should investigate that. There are too many illegal immigrants hustling people in the greater DFW area as it is.
Unfortunately people don’t know any better when it comes to quality of service and end up getting duped out of their hard earned money by hustlers like these guys posturing as professionals. This store is not ran by professionals. Stay clear of this shop. It’s not worth the trouble of getting angry after they bate and switch you then leave you worse off and still in need of a technician. These fly by night operations should be avoided at all cost. If people stop giving them money they will go out of business and go away for ever. Even the store front is an eye sore on the road.

Wanted to update my review since my 2013 encounter.
My laptop screen randomly decided to pop off one day, not completely, but just about there.
I took it back up there and they told me what they needed to replace and I fully expected it cause I had researched it already and found this to be a faulty problem associated with HP laptops.
I got the laptop back after a week because they had to order parts and such.
I got my laptop and they opened it up for me and it looked nicely done.
I got home, and for some reason decided to open my laptop again in my car and turn it on to make sure the screen worked.
Everything looked fine until I moved the screen back a little bit and suddenly the display looked really weird.
So I hauled my butt back up there and showed him, luckily Sam was there and he took it. He had the nerve to ask me what I did to it since I left. OK. In the end, he just had to put it back together since the screen was loose, took about 15 minutes. Triple checked it, but man, I did not like dealing with this Sam dude.
All my other encounters have been great, but I never had to deal with Sam before.
I feel like as long as I didn’t have to see Sam, this business is pretty okay.

Do not take your computers here. I’ve been going here for a long time, and never had issues before. The person running this place now is rude, arrogant, and has a «I run things my way here» attitude. He does not know about customer satisfaction. The original issue was not resolved and my computer was rendered useless. They offered no alternative to repair the original issue. They kept bringing up the fact that is not under warranty, but never gave me an option. I was willing to pay them again, but sounds like «Sam» wanted to flex his «manager or owner» muscles.
I would pay more elsewhere, but I want to have complete customer satisfaction. If you care about your money, and your computer, do not bring them there.
I’ve been reading some reviews on the web, and it sounds like «Sam» likes to personally offend customers by either insult them, or kick them out of the store, or tell them how the «conversation is over». This is no way of running a business where the customers are the ones who bring you their money, and work, so that you can stay in «business»
I was personally insulted in such manner.
I only gave them one star because the «no» star is not an option here.

I signed up with Unilocal just to say that this place is the WORST you can go to. The owner of this place is so arrogant and clearly doesn’t give a **** about the customers service. Save your money.

They had one of my computers for months. Never called back. Save your money and go somewhere else.
