This is a shared branch that I use if I can’t make it to my credit union. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The lines are always short and they have a huge parking lots for you to count your dollar bills. They have safe deposit boxes here if you don’t trust your mattress or need to hide something from someone close to you. I have been more the pleased with the service and staff here and the inside banking hours are pretty good. I don’t think you will be unhappy with the bank or the service here.

Nice looking bank. We used it for a while but we are leaving. The accounts offer nothing other banks do not, the lobby transactions take FOREVER, the online banking is third party, your debit/credit card doesn’t work everywhere (or anywhere out of the state of Texas– my husband was in the ER in Arizona when it was denied for the first time-lovely) but the deal breaker for me was having the «credit» side of my credit/debit card closed, not being notified, and then told I would have to pay $ 5 to get a new card because they thought someone was trying to access the account so they closed it. Huh? Sorry CUT you did not make the cut. We are changing banks.

Great customer service. The tellers, Joel and Arun greet me by name when I get there. They have my account up and ready before I even get to their window. Quick, easy, in-and-out in five minutes. Never a waiting line.
I’ve been in for a couple loans and Becca helped me get my first car loan, again, quick and easy process. I told her what type of car I was looking for, she told me what I could spend and it was that easy. Great APR as first time buyer as well. Mark was very helpful with a short term cash loan as well. I went in for an application and ten minutes later the money was in my account, same day!
Overall, great customer service, been a member for only a couple years and I would never consider taking my business elsewhere.

I had my first bank account with this Credit Union and have been using them ever since. I disagree completely with the other assessment of customer service. The tellers at the branch in Irving I use are incredibly helpful and responsive. They know my name and say hello to me when I come in. The branch is very clean and the wait is never more than 10 minutes. I have a debit card with them as well. When I traveled internationally last year I had no problem using my card at different ATMs and the fees were minimal. I have also wired to and from my account without any problem multiple times. I highly recommend Credit Union of Texas.

Should be 0 stars. This is a rating for their mortgage product, not this branch. CU of Texas, you should be ashamed at your customer service. I will never use you for a financial product again. Beware — they use a third party to manage their mortgages that get represented as CU. The worst customer service, complete lack of knowledge and responsiveness. Can’t say enough about how terrible the company they use is. You get what you pay for as I’ve learned with my first mortgage.
To top it off, apparently their customer sat surveys are not anonymous as their mortgage rep started arguing with me via email about the rating and feedback I gave her!
What an embarassment.

I’ve been a member of this Credit Union for about 20 years.
You can’t beat their rates for both investments and loans. Of course they are not as good as online only bank, but noone can either.
The location is clean, the staff is super helpful and friendly, and there’s never a long line inside.
The Credit Union has just released a mobile appfor iphone and android platforms, which is fantastic! Easy to use, and allows simple transactions and rate info such as transfers, etc.
Thank you for consistently surpassing all the ‘regular banks!’
