I came with my group and there was no air conditioning or power which affected the challenge. It is a cute group idea and good for team building but I was dying in that small room on a hot Texan summer afternoon. The staff is primarily young college-looking kids as well. I think if they were more professional in their business, it would be a more positive experience. No AC in a small hot room is unacceptable.

We were a group of 10 people and we enjoyed it thoroughly. We did the Abandoned School mission and solved it successfully. We will surely be back and try to solve the other remaining missions. Huy did an awesome job in explaining the mission goal and also gave us ideal clues that helped us to solve the mission.

This was a great experience. My cousin came in from Las Vegas for the weekend and I thought this would be a good outing for us. It was hard for us to find because it’s in a small white building off the service road and the sign is on the side of the building. Once we found the place and got inside a group of 6 let us join in and that worked out perfectly. I do not recommend just 2 people go in the room alone, it works so much better with more people. The clues and the puzzles were well thought out. We were able to group together and work on different pieces of the puzzle. Everyone should give it a try. Our guide Huy was friendly and very helpful.

This was a great experience. I went with four friends and we almost got to the end of the school panic room. Danny was our host and he did a fantastic job. Really had a great time and we will likely be returning for other panic rooms.

We had an awesome time our first time but failed to make it out!!! Loved it!!! Went back again and tried another room… And succeeded! So much fun! The key is that ALL codes must be solved and ALL locks must be opened. We had such fun with our group of four.

I went with a group of 5 and it was our first time but definitely, won’t be our last! Our host Danny was phenomenal! He totally made our experience amazing! He was very funny, helpful, patient and kind! Although my group and I failed, we had a fantastic time and the whole night was full of laughs! We’ll definitely be back and this time, we’re going to escape!!!

My group and I were searching on something fun and exciting to do. We found out about the panic room through some mutual friends and decided to take the chance and see if we could work as a team to get ourselves out of a locked room. The themes were interesting(Museum, School, and Zombie), but we decided to try the Museum room since it was a little more challenging. The host, Danny, was awesome to our party. He explained things very well to us as well as gave us clues that helped PLUS he was funny. We escaped the room, with some head butting within our group but this was an awesome experience.

Went to the panic room yesterday and it was very cool experience. Simple yet challenging. We did the school story and it was a lot tougher than I expected(we did escape though). Definitely will be coming back with a group of family in the future that I know would love this. It is a great thing for groups of all ages. If you are looking for something different for a bigger group(we had 8) I would highly recommend this

We went here for a competitive team building event. It was alot of fun, not to easy and the rooms were well thought out. Our team won in the end, but everyone had a great time and Steven, one of the staff members was super helpful, friendly, and helped to make our event a memorable one. I highly recommend,

Came here for a work retreat with my new colleagues, and it really was a fun team-building activity. The concept was interesting-use clues in the room to solve puzzles to get out of the room. I don’t think we all completely got how it worked initially, at least I know I didn’t, so it took us a little longer to solve some things. Now that I understand it better, I do believe I would do a better job. We did not make it out of the room in an hour, but did have a great time. I would definitely recommend this as a good group activity. Just a note: They now have a 3rd room with a Zombie theme apparently…

We had a group of 10(the max) for my birthday. The prices are a little more reasonable than other escape rooms, and we all had a lot of fun! We did the schoolhouse scenario and made it out with 11 minutes. There was definitely enough to do so that everyone helped solve a puzzle or two and I think everyone felt included. I’m really curious to see if a smaller group would be able to solve it cause we all kept pretty busy! And they gave me a really cute mug because it was my birthday! Definitely want to come back for the museum scenario!

I celebrated my 54th birthday there tonight with my kids. We had the school room! What fun and intuitive! I highly recommend. We escaped with only 45 seconds to spare. Kudos to Danny and his team!

I’ve been wanting to go to Dallas panic room for a while. They were originally in Dallas but moved to Irving. The concept is cool: it’s a live escape game you have to escape under an hour. There were two rooms — museum heist and abandoned schoolroom. We got the latter. My friends and I went for a bachelorette party and it was five of us. I thought five was a really good amount. You can have up to 10 people. The more people it is, the more people are standing around who probably can’t do very much. Before we started we were informed by Robert, our moderator that we were allowed 6 questions through our walkie talkie! Make sure you ask open ended questions so you’re essentially not potentially wasting questions. He was really helpful and funny. I don’t want to give too much away but you can see how much detail they put into the rooms so it was really cool. It’s a team bonding experience so I think a lot of companies take their employees there. We managed to finish with 1:58 left so we got to take our picture and put it on the wall. It’s easy to reserve your room online — In the future I’ll definitely come again with friends and maybe next time I can try the museum heist room!

First, I would give The Panic Room a five rating if they would have contacted me before they relocated to their new location in Irving. I made reservation two months before they moved and they forgot to let us know until someone caught the change at the last minute. That being said, we all make mistakes and I evaluate a business on how they rebound. Which they did! The Panic Room is fantastic. Staff was courteous, kind, smart, creative, fun, and everything you would in that experience. All seven of us are coming back plus bringing more to tag along. Really Fun! Really nice people! Reasonably priced!

My group heard about Texas Panic Room in Austin and collectively decided to visit the Dallas Panic Room. We went in fairly calm, ready to escape the room with plenty of time to spare, and escaped with barely a minute to spare in a gibbering, hysterically laughing, group with an adrenaline rush. The Dallas Panic Room is excellently created, and the room we visited, the Abandoned Schoolroom, had an interesting story and extremely sly clues guaranteed to perplex many who visit. With promises of upcoming expansions and new rooms, I would definitely recommend the Dallas Panic Room to any group of people willing to wrack their brains Sherlock-style.

If you’re looking for a place where you can live out your Sherlock Holmes fantasies, this is your place. I had heard about the Austin Panic Room located in Austin, TX and am so pleased they opened a location here in Dallas. The team who founded the Panic Rooms has done a fantastic job of creating an innovative, family friendly activity that really challenges your mind and strengthens team bonds. There are two rooms so far in this location: Museum Heist Room and Abandoned School Room. My group chose to do the Abandoned School Room and we had so much fun working together to solve the clues and make our way out of the room with 1 minute and 8 seconds left to spare. Everything was so well thought out, from the design of the room to the clues — even to the placement of objects. The staff working there will be some of the most friendly people you will come across and I super appreciate the hard work they put in to create/run these rooms(s/o to you, Joseph)! This is a great activity for team building and a super fun way to spend your afternoon. 10⁄10 highly highly recommend! So bring Dr. Watson, Moriarty, and the rest of your squad to put your brain to the test and see if you can escape within an hour!

Texas Panic Room has started from its roots in Austin, to San Antonio, and finally made its way to Big D right off of Greenville! Get ready to Sherlock Holmes your way out of the Museum Heist Room, or the Abandoned School Room(coming December 3rd) with a group of friends! Concept: Dallas Panic Room is an escape room with interactive and challenging puzzles that must be unlocked and solved with nothing but your wit, your problem solving skills as a group(4 – 10 people), and your desire to make it out under 1 hour. Each room is designed with a particular theme or backstory, but with the common theme of having only 1 hour to use subtle clues that you and your team must find to unlock the next set of clues. Teamwork and team building are the key words since it becomes difficult to put clues together at times, but you and your team are allocated a certain amount of «hints» to ask the operator of the room through your walkie talkie! Use them wisely, but do use them when you must! After making it out within an hour(or not), you’ll go outside to debrief and to take a picture with your team to put on the board of survivors! Reserving Rooms: Booking a room is very simple through their website: –Just enter in how many participants, reserve a time, and then use a credit/debit card to pay online!($ 20/person) Don’t come late since it will be deducted from your 1 hour time limit in the rooms since you may need every minute, but expect a thrilling race against time and frantically turning the room over for clues! Service: The staff is very accommodating, funny, and very helpful with clues, especially when they notice you’re stuck on a particular clue and need a nudge in the right direction! Definitely ask questions when you need to! Conclusion: An exciting team building adventure for 4 – 10 people with new rooms promised to change every 6 – 8 months! They use their clues and puzzles very cleverly so don’t overlook anything! We made it out of the Museum Heist Room with only 6 minutes left, so I’ll definitely be back with some friends to take on the new Abandoned School Room soon! Happy escaping, folks!
