I had a delicious meal here, with a group of vegetarians and vegans. The buffet is mostly labeled with the ingredients of each dish, making it easy to choose items that are free of animal ingredients, and there are plenty of dishes to choose from, on both the cold and hot sections. The restaurant is very large, and all hard surfaces, so it gets loud very quickly.

One of the best Mediterranean buffets in the entire Dallas metroplex. The staff is extremely nice the food is very delicious and the price is very reasonable. If you are looking to have a great lunch/dinner with a group of friends, I highly recommend you to take a visit.

I went in early for lunch; was the first person in. I grabbed a dish, but then could not find a clean table! I finally found one clean table way over by the front door. The employees just sat at a table laughing and joking and acting like anyone that comes here is a fool. Don’t even go here to eat! Yuck!

I love Dimassi’s. The space itself is clean, spacious, and open. If you have a big party and need lots of space, this place is perfect. Just come on in and serve yourself! All the food is delicious and so fresh. If you are new to Mediterranean cuisine, you can come sample all the different dishes and pick what you like best. Trust me, you will be coming back for more!

Food is tasteless. This restaurant chose quantity over quality. Do yourselves a favor and go to Terra or Andalous. Two stars is for baklava on buffet or would have given a zero rating

Was introduced to this place by my brother who took me here because I had a craving for vegetables. I wish I took note of what I loved the most but everything I could fit in my plate was amazing. I will say the pita and the flatbread were the best I’ve ever had– fresh and doughy, and nothing like the dry crap you buy at grocery stores. All the veggie dishes were fantastic, especially the eggplant. So good!!!

I love the Richardson location and figured this one would be just as good. Boy was I wrong! The workers were too busy watching a soccer game to keep the buffet stocked and even after specifically asking for hummus I was ignored as they continued to watch TV. None of the food was fresh unlike the other location and all of the soup bowls were dirty. I won’t ever be back to this location! It was horrible!

Where to start! Last time I counted it was over 50 different selections of items to choose from. It’s all you can eat so that means that you can try all those items in one sitting if your stomach could handle it haha. Drinks are included which is a big plus, and they have a great salad selection. My wife is a vegetarian and she can’t stop talking about how happy she is that there’s a long selection for vegetarians. All day buffet which means not always fresh, but the best experiences I had were times from 11 a.m.- 3 p.m., and 6 p.m.- 8 p.m.

This place is yummy. They have fresh Mediterranean food. I’ve had their hummus, lamb, chicken soup, which was really really good. The baklava is good. It’s very casual and cafeteria style. You just walk in and go straight for the plates and seat yourself. It’s clean and they’re constantly rotating out food so you know it’s fresh. I would recommend this if you’re looking for fresh made from scratch cooking.

This place stinks. Plates, silverware weren’t clean and the food is sub par. This restaurant has a health inspection rating of a D two years in a row. Go to Afrah or Andalous if you feel like Mediterranean.

Omg! Food was NOT good! I LOVE Mediterranean food and often eat at buffets and this location is def not better than Richardson’s. Food was bland and even taboulle was flavorless. Anyways I sampled mostly everything like I always do and best thing was the dessert and coffee.

Kufta and Kabob are always empty, never refilled. They will never ever tell you there’s actually a lamp leg is included. IDK why they do this.

My husband and I are big fans of this place. The manager/owner is super friendly and attentive. The food is always great and flavorful. It’s a great way to try lots of different kinds of food that you may not be familiar with, without committing to an entire entrée in a regular restaurant. The price is a tiny bit more than a «regular» buffet, but it includes your drink, so that’s nice. It’s pretty dead in there around dinner time, which is when we eat there so sometimes the food has been sitting around a little bit. It’s just a personal pet-peeve of mine. That being said, the food is always fresh tasting and hot. I wouldn’t go there for the ambiance though. It has a cafeteria vibe.

I decided that you can’t go wrong with a Mediterranean buffet but I left disappointed. The good: the pita bread, hummus, okra and the gyro meat. Literally everything else for me was bland. The hummus also looked like it was in a ninja blender for a good hour because it came out ultra-pureed, like hummus flavored baby food. It was still one of the better items. I would much rather have a much smaller, 10-item buffet with the quality of each dish the same as a decent Mediterranean a la carte menu versus having the variety they had but at such bad quality. Even walking around, most of the customers seemed to have so much food leftover. The baked fish was swimming in oil, the rice overcooked and mushy, and the tzatziki tasted like straight up greek yogurt. Nothing seemed to have much flavor. Not my thing. I’ll stick with Andalous.

Dimassi is definitely one my ultimate favorites when it comes to Mediterranean cuisine! I come here at least once every couple of months. The quality of the food is amazing and it surprises me every time. The restaurant also is VERY consistent and has never let me down. Some of my favorite buffet items would include the garlic butter sauce, the chicken noodle soup, the pita bread, the grilled chicken breasts/thigh and all of the vegetable salad items. Actually, I pretty much love everything here lol. I’ve been to Afrah’s and the other Mediterranean restaurants, but they don’t compare to Dimassi’s at all. The price is very affordable and there is always groupon coupon deals. Overall: I STRONGLY recommend Dimassi to anyone and everyone. The Irving location is a lot cleaner compared to the Richardson location so try to go that location. Also, there is always a groupon coupon deal so make sure you keep an eye out :)

The Richardson location was better. I came in at 6 and the food was a little cold and the pita bread stale. I was disappointed that they did not have baba ganoush and the selection was not as wide as the Richardson restaurant’s. The only item I was impressed with was the falafel. On a good note, we had an expiring Groupon that is only valid Mon-Thurs, but the cashier accepted it, although it was a Saturday. Overall, as a fan of Mediterranean food, I wasn’t too impressed.

We had the lunch buffet yesterday since our Groupon was about to expire. We were greeted as soon as we arrived and the employee explained the process that we pay after we had dined. I think Andalous ruined us to other med restaurants. The fattoush and tabouleh were ok, but they did not touch the flavor at the other restaurant I mentioned. The fish was drowning in butter and oil; it also tasted fishy, which is never a good sign of it’s freshness. As others have mentioned, the restaurant is very open, so sound echoes. Certainly not a relaxing atmosphere with so much noise and people bumping into our chairs since the tables are so close together. Will we return? No. Not worth the cost.

I bought a groupon to this place to check out their food. You still have to pay taxes after the Groupon. They offered a variety of salads and meat options as well as vegeterian options. We were able to try a few items off their buffet line. The pita bread and hummus were really good. The gyro mean was tender but could have used more flavor. The falafel was really good and fresh. Their chicken was a little on the dry side, but it was flavored really well. The rices were perfect, not over or under cooked. As for the desserts, the rice pudding was my favorite and the baklava was really good. The ambience reminded of a noisy school cafeteria, and the food was average. I’ll come back.

ALL the World lives a great buffet :-) This is a delicious buffet at a Fantastic price! Lunch buffet is only $ 10.99 per person($ 6.99 for kids 3 – 9). Buffet includes drinks & desserts. During dinner hours & weekends, the price jumps to around $ 15, but for good unlimited food(with drinks & dessert), this is still an Excellent deal. Also, on weekends, ask about adding lamb shanks(for an additional price) to your meal. FYI: A posted sign stated that they will be open Thanksgiving Day offering turkey and other traditional American holiday fare.
