My Mom broke her hip recently. She was in the hospital for seven days. We had family with her 24⁄7 during her stay at Las Colinas Medical Center. After her surgery we spoke with Dr. Muncy, but each day following he never came by to check on her. He may have checked her chart, but he never came to the room to check the operative site or to see how she was doing. I am a therapist. I worked in acute care at a hospital on the Orthopedic floor. Every Orthopedist I worked with rounded on their patients every day and physically checked on them. He has no bedside manner — he does not come! He obviously does not care. I would not recommend him to any one.

Being new to the Dallas area, I couldn’t have asked for a better referral than Dr. Muncy and Elite Orthopedics. I feel well taken care of by Dr Muncy and his entire staff. Thank you to everyone who has turned an unfortunate incident into a warm Texas welcome.

Dr Muncy has preformed surgeries on 2 family members. Always a total professional but also takes his time with you. He just took care of me as well.
