Finally found my lash lady! I’ve been going all over the Dfw looking for an amazing technician. Definitely will be returning to her

Chelita is awesome! She is very professional & knows her business! I went to see her as a groupon & have been with her at least a year now. My husband loves how great I look with my lashes — he always notices them, but not if I change the color of my hair.
Chelita is very gentle & I, too, have taken some naps-it’s that relaxing!

I have been going to Girl Meets Lashes for over a year now. Chelita is the absolute best. She is so gentle that you will fall asleep while she works away. (I took my sister here and she got both beautiful lashes for her wedding and a 45 minute nap.)
The lashes look great and are very soft and light. Mine last 3 weeks, but I am also a person who takes care of my lashes. (I think Michelle T., by the looks of it, sleeps on her side with her lashes being rubbed off so much on one eye. Rookie mistake.)
GPS’s do have a hard time fonding this place but it is on the 2^nd story of the only office builting around. It is a nice, well lit cornor office.
If you are looking for a cheep place that uses stinging glue and cheep stiff lashes, there are dozens in Dallas. But if you want really nice lashes with a gentle touch, Girl Meets Lashes is the ONLY PLACE I WOULD RECOMMEND!

I went to Chelita after purchasing a groupon.
Her studio is in an office building. My gps had a hard time locating it so I had to call her. She was a bit rude on the phone. Chelita is not a very friendly person at first, but warms up a little and tried to make conversation.
Her office was clean. She was eating when I got there and didn’t wash her hand before beginning to work on my lashes. She only used hand sanitizer. I was a bit uncomfortable about that.
The reason I am giving it three stars is due to the final product. After a couple of days, my left lashes started to fall out significantly. It did not even make it a week without looking terrible. I am kind of embarrassed to have them. You can see the picture I posted.
I did not attempt to contact her about it because she did not seem very personable during the appointment.

Chelita is great at what she does! She did a wonderful job on my lashes and is very personable. The Girl Meets Lashes ambience is so cozy, I almost fell asleep a few times because I was so comfortable. Unfortunately I don’t live in the area but I will be making the drive from Arkansas back to Girl Meets Lashes, it’s worth it!

I am SHOCKED that Chelita has not been reviewed on Unilocal yet. First, let me tell you my previous experiences with lash extensions — I had been to two other lash salons. One who specializes in lashes only and the other who just sort of did them. Although the lashes were «OK» in quaility on one place (they lady who specialized in lashes) and the other ladies were just horrific (think globby black mascara look), I suffered through horrible reddness and swelling for days afterwards b/​c the glue was too strong or they did not properly air off the eyes afterwards — whatever. NOW Chelita was an entirely different experience. The setup just relaxes you as you walk in the door. I have fallen asleep everytime I am getting my lashes done. She uses such care and you can tell she takes great pride in doing lashes. She is very friendly and simply a delightful person (granted I’ve slept more than talked to her). OH — and get this — her lashes last MUCH MUCH longer than the other lashes I had done. I am really happy to have found Chelita! Thank you again for taking care of my lashes!
