I purchased 4 windows for my kitchen. I was told they would be manufactured at Gulf Coast Windows facility in the Houston area and that it would be about 8 weeks. That was on Feb. 28th. On March 11th, we received an email stating the windows were in production. Since that time, we heard nothing until I sent an email requesting information on a delivery date. We were given May 15th. It is now June3rd. Still no windows! If you want new windows, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I bought 17 windows for $ 15,000. The manufacturer was not disclosed. The installation went fairly well but three of the windows had missing screens and the windows had the wrong hardware color. The installer was quickly ripping off the sticklers that had the manufacturer information even though the were only supposed to be removed by the customer. I saved one sticker and learned that the manufacturer was Amsco. A quick internet search revealed I could have gotten the same windows at half the price through another dealer. I will never buy again without finding out the brand I am buying. The windows were paid in full over 3 months ago and despite repeated calls and emails, I do not have the screens or hardware. The installer came back once with 3 screens but they didn’t match the screens of the other windows and they did not fit the windows. He also brought part of the hardware but it couldn’t be installed due to missing pieces. I am frustrated that gulf coast is so unresponsive. They took my $ 15,000 but can’t get me my screens within 3 months. I am beginning to wonder if I will ever get what has been promised. Update: I spoke with a representative at a home show and shortly thereafter the missing screens were delivered and the last of the hardware was installed.
