Came to my brothers 40th birthday party last night in Fort Worth. As we drove up we saw a clean, well maintained food truck outside the home blocking the driveway. The truck was a great addition to the party. I had a Big D with sweet potatoes frys. The ingredients blended perfect together and with the heat of the fresh jalapeño it was perfect-I was stuffed. The service was the best I have received from a food truck. Period. I would recommend JBirds is a great alternative to having a store or restaurant cater your party. If you see this truck by your place of business, know that a side effect of fresh food, fast service and a healthy alternative to tacos, pizza, or burgers, is long lines and the possibility of running out of food. Is it not the plan of every business to sell out of the product they are selling. JBirds, seeing the main point of critisizum is running out of food. Be great full you are not like every other food truck that is thowing away your product due to lack of sales. Thanks for setting the bar high.

Would love to right a good review. Cause when I saw the truck at work. And the words healthy. Was like. YES. However. Seems it was the first time here and their food management must be a little off cause it was 12:21 pm. and they were out of food. REALLY. You might need to re think that one.

It’s a decent chicken sandwich. I had the 310 it was alright, the chicken was a little dry and the raw bell peppers provided an odd texture/flavor to the sandwich. What really disappointed me about my sandwich was that the avacado was rock hard wich makes me think they either don’t know or don’t care about the quality of their ingredients. As for the service they seemed a little frazzled by the five or so people who placed/placing orders. Overall it was mediocre if they were the only truck around I might give them another shot, but proably won’t be my first or second choice if given other options.

I want to rate them higher, I really do, but hangry me is writing this review. I ordered the Buffalo Bleu sandwich w/o tomatoes or onions at about 12:05, finally got my sandwich and a bag of chips at 12:35. The flavor was good but the chicken was DRY, and so totally not worth waiting a ½ hour for. If there’s room for another employee on the truck, JBirds would do well to get them on board. Might try them again, but only if it was raining.

JBirds is awesome. They were recently at my apartment complex for an event and boy did they leave a lasting impression on me. I tried the«Big D» and sweet potato fries. This was by far the best meal I’ve eaten from a food truck. Yes there is a bit of a wait(maybe 10mins), but that’s to be expected when your food is being made fresh. Their customer service is great and prices are reasonable. Way to go JBirds!

I’m a bit picky when it comes to who makes my food and where, and these guys and their food truck are ranked superb in my gastronomic list of meals on wheels! Fresh, flavorful, nutritious, and filling! I know these guys will work out the kinks as they build their sandwiches and business. I’ll be in line to try another bird as soon as I can. Yum, yum! Oh, and tomatoes on top against the mayo, yes! My mother always makes my sandwich like that!

Tried this truck for lunch since it showed up at the building across from where I work. Ingredients are fresh, truck looks clean inside & out, and employees are friendly and helpful. They were fiddling around with the propane tank when I arrived but they already had some chicken cooked in anticipation for the lunch rush. I tried the 310 bird in a bowl for $ 8.50. It was tasty but the size was disappointing. Another handful of lettuce would have probably done the trick. They did a great job chopping everything into small uniform sized pieces but it could have used more sauce. Someone else tried the skinny bird — she loved the grapefruit vinaigrette! A better deal since it was a dollar less. She said it filled her up but the size was also a little disappointing in her opinion. One Romaine lettuce leaf a little larger than the size of your hand with the ingredients in the center. Another person had the Bid D in a bowl for $ 10 — she thought it was excellent and most likely since it has more ingredients the entire to-go bowl was full. A different person had the Bid D spinach wrap which looked more substantial. They really liked it! They said it was packed with meat and veggies and was very filling. And finally another person had the build your own lettuce wrap. By the time they added everything they wanted it was almost $ 10. I think its because of the size of romaine lettuce leaves that these are not larger portions. Build your own came with 3 romaine leaves a little smaller than your hand. Bad News actually — someone else just got back while I was writing this and they said that the truck is having propane tank issues and cant make any food right now. Some of my fellow employees have already paid and are now standing around waiting for their food. And they left about 30 minutes ago. So not the fastest food truck around. The verdict: I will probably need to order something else after having the 310 Bird as will the build your own person. I will return and have the Bid D wrap next time since the ingredients were so good and for $ 1.50 more they will not have to order a second lunch. I will go again a few minutes after they show up so I can be first in line before their propane stops working.
