Okay. I’m giving 2 stars because, by all accounts, the cake tasted great. However… it looked awful. We ordered a quite expensive fondant cake for a baby shower. When we arrived (1 hr after promised time) the decorator had just started it. It was obviously a rush job. The fondant was falling off and broken in places. We were actually embarrassed to put it out. That cake wouldn’t have flown at Walmart. Seriously. On the upside, it was moist and yummy. I’ve had cookies from Margie’s that also tasted great. Lesson learned: get pretty cakes elsewhere.

Ordered a vanilla strawberry cheesecake frosting cake for my wifes birthday and everyone loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful and their pastry bars are awesome. Great place to go when your sweet tooth starts acting up! Will get the rest of the family birthday cakes from here. More than reasonable prices too.

Thank you Margie Lou’s for coming through at the last minute! I was in need of a baby shower cake, and they were able to fit me in to their busy schedule. The cake was beautiful and tasted great! My sister and her guests loved the cake.

I ordered a cake for a coworker’s 40^th anniversary. It was beautiful and it was delicious… but it wasn’t the cake I ordered. I asked for marble and I ended up with a two layer cake, the top layer was all white cake and the bottom layer had a teensy tiny ribbon (single) of chocolate. That was disappointing, which is why I’m giving this place only 3 stars.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Shelley, the incredibly snobby «pastry chef» that convinced me to pay her $ 180.00 for a «super labor intensive tiered cake» delivered a sheet cake with old, cracked, melted frosting. The «tiered» portion of the cake was plopped on top, and was sinking into the soft sheet cake laying underneath it. The head and neck of the fondant dinosaur completely detached and fell into the cake. I had to skewer both back on with toothpicks to make it semi presentable for my daughters birthday party. The pink frosting on the edges looked sloppy and crooked. I have honestly bought better made $ 25.00 sheet cakes from Wal-​Mart and Kroger. This is ridiculous. I will never step foot in this bakery again. The only reason I actually took the cake and didn’t ask for a refund was so I could post a picture of it on Unilocal to prevent anyone else from suffering the same fate. Don’t waste your money, and don’t risk ruining your special event with an embarrassment of a cake.

Great bakery!!! I ordered my 1 year old’s birthday cake and absolutely loved it!!! Their hummingbird cake is amazing! They decorated it exactly as I wanted and the pricing was very reasonable. Also, the staff was extremely friendly. I will definitely be ordering from them again soon!
