Pearle Vision

Simply will not spend my money at this place. Went in, expressed what I was looking for and was shown a few selections that had what I asked for. The lady preceeded to sit down. Like her colleague. I looked for awhile and had several pair in my hand. 7+. Sat by myself to whittle down my selection. When I went over to have her help me she looked on the computer to see if there was a color option for one of the 3 frames. After she told me, she just sat there. I said I would like to buy some glasses. She asked how many. I said I do not know I don’t know what the prices are. She said do you want one or two again I said I don’t know what the price is. Asked for my prescription and I gave it to her. She asked what type of lens and I said again I don’t know what the price options are. She then asked if the glasses I was wearing were progressive. I said yes but I prefer you not use these for any comparison. She said she just wanted to look at something but didn’t say what. She then asked if I knew if they were high definition. I said I don’t remember. She then stated she was going to get up and go ask the clinician what the lens price was. This is in stark contrast to my visit at the Vista Ridge location in Lewisville last Saturday where Ala was very helpful. Hellped me select several frames and spent a lot of time with me. Unfortunately wanted my husband to help me make the final selection but I was unable to make it to that side of town before they closed. Schedule is very hectic so I decided to go to the one in Irving closer to me later in the week. Biggest mistake ever.

Like somebody said down there! Rude rude rude.
Seriously I think the girls that work there think they are doing the customers a favor.
They need to get ride of them as soon as possible, we used to like coming here but I think we are going to change just because of the customer service.
Please hire new people.

RUDE RUDE RUDE!
Hi there! Unilocal newb, and this business gets my first Unilocal review! Why? Because they were so rude on the phone that I feel people should know about it.
I called to ask some questions about contacts. Getting someone on the phone was a beating. I called, said hi and got hung up on. I called back 4 more times and got that AOL start up tone sound. Finally a person answered and he was a jerk. Not really listening to what I was saying just giving his quick answer and trying to hang up on me. Finally I get one answer I need. I start to ask my second and he just says «Ok, bye» and hangs up. So I call again because I still have a question. Then some woman answers and clearly she drank the same kool aid as him cos she was equally rude. At this point I am extremely frustrated and just wanting some kind of contacts to get me through the month and I’m trying to stay cool, but these people who work in CUSTOMER SERVICE are getting attitudes because I have a question that they aren’t answering! It doesn’t work that way. LISTEN to your customer so you can give me the answer I need and we won’t have to go through a bunch of phone calls! Anyways I did get all the answers I need but in the worst way.
I’ve been coming here for years, I’m sure these people are somewhat new because I have never dealt with them before. I still give this place 3 stars because Dr. Humber himself is great and the people that have been there for years are great and know what they are doing. It’s the new people they are bringing in that give it a customer service rating of ONE star. (Sadly this isn’t the first time I’ve had a problem like this.) Fix your attitude or get another far away from people.

Me and my wife scheduled eye exams here for the first time and Dr. Heber was excellent. He takes time to understand the vision history and ask every single detail, The way he explains everything is commendable. I got the glasses for the first time, so he spent a good amount of time with me in understanding when to use them in my day to day activities, which frames to take and also suggested the glasses that would suit my life style.
I had been to some other places before, but I will surely go to this place in future for eye exam.

If you’re anything like me, you don’t really look forward to getting your eyes examined or buying glasses/​contact lenses because you have to deal with sales staff that’s pushy, uninterested and robotic. Definitely makes for a very unpleasant visit, eh?
Dr. Heber and his team here are great. Dr. Heber will take the time to understand your vision history, and he’s genuinely concerned. The staff is organized and are familiar with all the vision plans and benefits and will guide you through them with recommendations on maximizing those benefits.
I was really surprised when I paid my first visit here about 2 years ago, but this is the only vision place I go to now for exams, glasses and contacts.

These guys at Pearle Vision are soo nice and helpful! I lost my glasses and went there hoping I could get a deal on some new ones… since my benefits were already used.
They had a great discount available and gave me lots of options to stay within my budget.
I picked out some nice frames and they had my glasses ready for me by the end of the day.
And the best part is, I got out of there with glasses just as awesome as my fancy ones — for less!

It’s hard to justify giving a Pearle Vision type establishment a 4-​star rating, but this location deserves it…
A great selection of frames, from generic to designer label (all the way up to Versace)…I myself settled for a nice pair of Polo Ralph Lauren…
They have a great turn-​around time for prescription glasses… I recently got a new prescription; so my wife and I went in on a Wednesday evening, picked out my frames, and they had them ready for me to pick up the next morning. Pretty nice!
Also…their customer service is superb; very friendly, very courteous… they took my out-​of-​network coverage and gave me a great deal to boot…
I highly recommend this Pearle Vision location!
