QuikTrip

I love QT! Unfortunately they don’t have them down in Houston, so whenever I’m in Dallas, I try to hit them up for cheap gas, and great fountain drinks, plus the service is always friendly and fast! No matter how busy they get, the cashiers are always friendly and always super efficient!
You can always find what you need/​want at Quik Trip, even if you didn’t know you needed it until you got there (vanilla syrup add in to your Diet Coke, anyone?). I love the fountain drinks the best… and I don’t even drink soda much anymore. But they do have a fountain energy drink called Rooster Booster that I am addicted to; I’m sure it’s terrible for you and has disgusting ingredients, but it tastes good, so don’t tell me the bad!
All in all, I love Quik Trip, and love to stop here for whatever I need… food, drinks, ice, coffee, clean bathrooms, whatever. I just wish they were down in the Houston area!

This QuickTrip location is sitting on a really busy corner so it can be a little tricky getting back out into traffic. The bathrooms were clean and they had sweet tea so I was happy. Took my cup in and got my cheap refill. They were cheaper than the shell down the street by a nickel fyi… Filled the car up with gas and headed back on the road.

I live in the area and if you’re going to stop by a gas station and happen to need to pick up food, water, beer, or whatever, this is probably the best station to go to. Most of the other stations along Belt Line in the Irving area are a bit ghetto and at least you can stop by and get two hot dogs for $ 2, a fine bottle of wine for $ 7, or 32oz drink for $.99 here, lol.
Brightly lit and clean restrooms. I think there’s a safe place outside, but I don’t know what that really means. It’s a sign showing an interracial couple sharing an embrace so there you go.

People here are very nice and the service is fast.
