I do not suggest using this dentist. A dear friend of mine had a very negative experience. The dentist chose not to subscribe my friend pain medication following a root canal because it «wasn’t that bad of a root canal». The dentist was incorrect! Following the procedure my friend was in terrible pain. My friend tried for days to get help from this dentist for excruciating pain at no avail. I’m sharing this story because watching my friend suffer has been hard. I would never want this to happen to anyone else. My suggestion is to steer clear of this dentist. Going to the dentist is hard enough, but to be given a root canal with no option for pain medication and treated with disregard(I’m summarizing and sparing the details of the«disregard») is an experience no one deserves.

My mother isn’t exactly internet savvy so I’m writing this review on her behalf. She went to some Dentist in Dallas with a beautiful office. All over the walls you could see pictures of him traveling the world. He told her that he only works three days a week. His office was amazing. He told my mother, who is on a fixed income, that she needed $ 5000 worth of dental work. She needed a root canal. She needed dental surgery. She would be coming in for a year. She was pressured to sign an agreement committing to the work on the spot. I advised my mother to get a second opinion. She saw Dr. Blackmore and she needed a simple crown. It will cost a small percentage of what the other dentist was going to charge. He was also unbelievably kind to my mother and for that I am incredibly grateful. I’ll bet Dr. Blackmore’s office isn’t as lavish as the other dentist and I’ll bet he works more than three days a week. I’ll also bet that he’s never been dishonest with a patient and always puts his needs before their needs. I haven’t needed a dentist in years but when I do I’ll make the three hour drive to Dallas to support Dr. Blackmore’s business.
