I was in town for a wedding that I was in and was so happy to get a Saturday appt, as I called in on Friday the day before. I spoke with the owner, Valerie, who was sooooo sweet. She was very accomodating and was able to squeeze me in with one of her stylists for 9AM the next day. I was very lucky to get the appt. The owner called me back to confirm that I was to see her manager, Erica. I thought it was very professional of her to confirm the appt even though I made it a couple hours prior. I show up the next day at 8:50AM for my 9AM appt and Erica isnt there. I talk it up with another stylist(I think her name was Loretta who was busy with braids and she clearly knew what she was doing.) Erica enters the salon at 9:05AM with a child and breakfast in her hand. She greets me and says Im going to get you washed and dried. I respond my hair will take over an hour to dry and I only need an updo. She protested that my hair is dirty and I explained my hair, dirty, holds pins otherwise clean hair will not hold pins. She laughs as if I said something crazy then she goes over to her station and takes another woman who came in after me. I proceed to watch her do a really horrible looking sew-in on the other woman. I wait and wait until about 9:20AM and ask her if she has time to get to me because its 9:20Am. She reponds ‘youre good’ and looks annoyed that I questioned her. Her client then mutters lowly«does she know where shes at? this is texas’. i overhear this BS and the snickers from both the client and the stylist. I get on my phone, call the sister of the bride and get an appt at another salon. I got up to leave and wished them all a good day. When Erica realized money was walking out the door, she comes alive, and says she can do me. I decline and tell her im all set and to have a good day. I left and got what I needed elsewhere. I dont understand/respect anyone who doesnt hustle. On a Saturday at a salon you should be ready to work and get money. This was not the case. I dont think the salon in bad since the owner and the other stylist seemed about their paper. I do have no faith in Erica. Im not sure if shes slow or a rookie(maybe thats why I got stuck with her) but I wont support that. Please support local business but try not to get stuck with Erica.

Did not use sterile tools on pedi. Pretty sure this shop just started doing mani-pedis because they don’t get business in their hair salon. Towels they use are stained and have holes. Lots of nasty hair on the floor. Not many appointments available. They are really nice but if you are looking for relaxing, clean and quality then keep looking! Not worth $ 33PEROID
