I went there yesterday with my friend who is a fan of their sandwiches. We ordered Bangkok Chicken Sandwich the daily special. The bread was well toasted with lot’s of chicken and their special sauce. It’s a little spicy for me but loved every bit of it. I would go back to try their other sandwiches.

It was my first time trying this restaurant. I called to put in an order, and was asked how many sandwiches. I said, 2, the Malibu and the Turkey club. The person on the other end said, we are out of Malibu. So I got ready to choose a different sandwich from the menu(which I was looking at online). Then he started telling me that they have 3 kinds of meat, according to people with dietary restrictions. He said, we are out of zabiha. I said you didn’t tell me that. My point of saying that to him was that, if I hadn’t said that, then I would’ve had to order a different sandwich because he told me they didn’t have it — but they did, just not zabiha meat. When I told him that he should’ve told me this to begin with(so we wouldn’t have any trouble) he started explaining how people have dietary restrictions(which I’m already well aware of). I said, I know that, but you didn’t tell me it was only the zabiha meat you didn’t have. He said, «nevermind.» And hung up on me! I went to the restaurant to order instead, hoping to speak to the manager. When I came to the counter, the man who came out started ranting and raving about his food and going down a laundry list of accolades his restaurant had received. As we were having this discussion, I asked who was answering the phones. He said he was. I brought up how he had hung up on me. He said started telling me that it was because he had a very long line and they were busy and that I wasn’t understanding. He started to explain the dietary restrictions thing to me again. I told him I already know about these dietary restrictions, my point was that I didn’t think he should’ve hung up on me. He said, «I’m not serving you,» there was anger in his voice! He motioned at me with his hands to go away, and said again, «I’m not serving you.» I’ve never had a worse experience with a restaurant owner. I went ahead and ordered, because my family had already decided on that food. But… #IWILLNEVER go here again. Ever. What a nightmare! Also…the sandwiches were cold. They are listed under«hot sandwiches» on the menu so they’re supposed to be hot :(

I work right across the street and love love love their sandwiches. The owners are so nice and always greet everyone by name. If you are in the area, I highly recommend trying it! The Lone Star and Chicken Malibu are my personal favs!

Haven’t been able to eat there, but after calling to place an order ahead of time, the girl on the phone was super unprofessional, took the order and then told me it would take 1.5 hours. I understood but wasn’t wanting to wait that long so I cancelled the order, then the manager/owner picked up the phone and fairly rudely told me to get my order in before 10 am if I wanted it faster. I said that’s understandable, no worries I’ll know for next time, and he hung up on me. I’m sure the food is great, and I’ll probably try again, but as far as customer service, there’s a lot to be desired.

I’d like to say that I was able to enjoy this place but they basically told me not to order food… Yes, the people that work there discouraged me from ordering after I placed an order! Unbelievable! So I walk in and I order a number 26, a pizza sandwich, nothing crazy, and he said that it’s going to take a while and thanks bound order one of three other sandwiches that we’re the menu because they only take a half hour or more to make!!! That blew my mind as there was literally nobody in there but me and three workers. Nobody was eating, the place was empty as could be(and now I see why!) For a quick bite to eat, go to a gourmet restaurant… I guess…

Love this place! I try to visit this place at least every other week. Definitely try the sauces, they are amazing! Sandwiches always taste fresh here and put other sub chains to shame! My favorite is the Malibu Chicken, highly recommend it!

We’ve been on the hunt for a good gyro place for a couple of months now. A friend directed us to this place and the reviews were promising. It’s a good 30 minutes from home, but we’re getting desperate for a gyro. There was free street parking, which was exciting because the parking garage was $ 11. The atmosphere in the shop was excellent. Despite being busy, we were greeted by everyone behind the counter. The prices were reasonable. The cashier was friendly and there were a lot of great charities collecting at the counter. The wait was understandable. It’s lunchtime. Apparently if you get the special it’s ready to go. So that’s a thing to keep in mind. Apparently the gyro is not quite as popular as the reviews suggested. The rack of meat was obviously shriveled and dry with a dark burnt bark around it. The resulting sandwich was dry and crisp. Not quite up to standard. More like a lamb jerky sandwich. We also got a steak sandwich. Even though I’m from Philly, I’m not usually picky about steak sandwiches. This one was a beef jersey sandwich with cheesewhiz. Which would be great if you’re craving beef jerky with cheesewhiz. The service was A+ gold status. Food not so much.

This owner is absolutely awful. I watched him make a customer cry today for not calling in 2 sandwiches in advance. Then he gave her a cookie and apologized after he realized what an ass he was. I was completely mortified by his behavior! The food isn’t remotely worth that BS. I am totally not impressed and will not return. Neither will half of the office I work in. I have spread the word.

I’ve been a regular for at least 9 years and have never been let down. The customer service and the quality products make this place remarkable. There is not another sandwich shoppe in DFW that can compete with this place, the service and their products. I’m partial to their turkey sandwich made on wheat bread with pepperjack cheese, spicy mustard, mayo and a drop or two of any of their homemade signature sauces, which they also sell by the bottle. On occasion, I skip the sandwich and go for their chef salad which is one of a kind, abundant and amazing. This place has treated me well over the last 9 years. I can’t count how many times I’ve had to call on them at the last minute for large orders either for meetings or because my team was working late and needed dinner. The orders are always right, fresh and timely. I absolutely love this place and the owners and I look forward to the next 9 years of being a loyal customer. I highly recommend this place.

A regular spot for me. Wide variety of great sandwiches and a local’s favorite for a quick bite. The staff and owner will know your name after one visit type of place that keeps me coming back. My Favorites are: Malibu Chicken Turkey Melt on Wheat Gyro French Dip & Doner Kebab Tuesdays are double stamp days for the very popular rewards program!

I will forever boycott this place. The owner is a complete dick, and has absolutely no idea how to treat a customer. I usually can get over service as long as food is good, but this is an exception. I urge all of you to stay away from this place. Even if you eat halal only, you are better off eating a veggie sandwich from subway.

This is a bad ass place to get a sub! They have over 90 different sauces that the owner makes on his own(which he said he is about to start distributing): Mango Habanero, Chipotle BBQ, Fig BBQ, just to name a few that I tried. I got the Malibu Sub which had grilled chicken, turkey/ham, provolone cheese, L/T, and spicy mustard… its was hot, fresh, and tasty! If I was staying in the Los Colinas area… I would be a weekly patron at this place.

I went to this sandwich shop last night(Sunday) at 7:40pm(They close at 8) and as soon as I walked in I was promptly told by the young girl at the counter playing on her cell phone«I’m sorry were closed.» I immediately responded with«really? What time do you close?» Her response was 8. During that moment I didn’t quite realize that it was 7:40pm, twenty minutes away from 8:00. I realized it once I got back in my car. The idiot girl employed by this place clearly doesn’t understand hours of operation, nor does she display any sort of customer service skills. If you close at 8:00 p.m. then you are open and serve customers until that time. You dont stop serving at 7:40 because its near the time you close. Get off your damn cell phone and do your job. I have heard great things about this place and am very disappointed that I was refused service. I will not be going back if that is how they treat customers.

I posted a check in the other day but my comment didn’t show up, I wanted to recognize the lady Grace for being soooooo professional and personable. She made me feel welcome and happy while assuring me that my order will be perfect and it was! Evrytime I come here I am not disappointed and Grace definitely deserves a raise and a thank you for an amazing job she is doing. Thank you Grace :)

This place is a small restaurant so come early as it gets packed! They have a huge selection of sandwiches along with a variety of breads and salads. I ordered their special of the day which happened to be the spicy mango grilled chicken sandwich. The guy knew I was new, so he let me try the chicken first. It was really good. For about $ 8, you get a full sandwich with chips and a drink. The full sandwiches are big, I was only able to eat half of it. The chicken was tender and filled with flavor. They have different sauces in the front that you can have with your meal. I’ll definitely come back to try out other sandwiches.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Dallas. Came here for the first time since April, 2014(my last visit to Dallas) and not only did Jami(the owner) remember my name, but also gave me a welcome to Dallas meal on the house! Some items to note about this restaurant: — cold cuts are fresh and nicely cut — sandwiches are neat and nicely packed — love the variety; I think 30 sandwiches, 90 sauces, lots of chips, a ton of drinks — very clean and good space for the area — can get half and full sandwiches depending on your need Not only are the sandwiches very good, but the sandwiches are made with love. The perfect proof is that you can see them making it while you wait for your order. Plus almost every sandwich is less than $ 10, so you really can’t beat that. This is a must visit when coming to Dallas. My friends and I always visit when we’re in town. If you any questions or concerns, just ask the staff and they will politely take care of it. Customer service is also a plus.

I get the doner kebab every single time. It’s delicious. While the food is amazing, what really takes it up a notch is the customer service and ownership. They’re wonderfully nice and also fun. I also *religiously* forget my stamp card every other time and the owner just tells me to remind her next time I come and she’ll give me the stamps I missed. I think that’s pretty cool when other places are like NOSTAMPFORYOU

The sandwiches here are really fresh(I’m a big fan of the turkey club). I would give this place a higher rating on food-alone, but this week, I went in 30 minutes to close(which admittedly, can be kind of frustrating as an employee if you’re trying to wrap up the day), and the employee who worked with me made it feel like I was a major inconvenience. I mean, I get it. It had probably been a long day or something. My thing is, if you’re going to discourage customers from coming in, you might as well just adjust your hours.

Man, a great sandwich is hard to beat. It’s such a commonly enjoyed food… but how many times when you have one is every component just perfect? The sub shops that achieve this are some of my favorite restaurants, and Subz N Stuff is definitely in my inner circle. The options are a plenty, thankfully. Usually I detest huge menus, but Subz N Stuff stick with one item — the sandwich — and create as many original and inventive variations as they can. Even with something as simple as the french dip, your sandwich will be perfection at all stops. The perfectly toasted bread, the tasty meat, the delicious au jus… It’s great stuff. My buddy raves about the veggie sandwich, which I have yet to try unfortunately. Regardless of the sandwich, the man who runs this restaurant is a gem. One of those people who you wonder how they could be so happy and positive all the time! Every time I go I’m greeted so warmly, and my choice of sandwich is always followed by a quip or comment about why that’s a great choice for that specific day. Sitting inside while eating, every person who comes in no matter what gets an earful of friendliness and joy for food. Following that, there always seems to be an aura of calmness inside the joint. Everyone takes a window of time to halt the thoughts and emotions that plague them and just eat a damn good sandwich.

The lunch options for the business folk of Irving are a little limited off O’Connor and 114. On the west side you have your chain choices(Corner Bakery, Scholtzsky’s, McDonalds, etc.). But who wants to wait in a huge line come noon? If you’re into sandwiches(and I AM!) let me lead you to this awesome place called SUBZ N STUFF. VENUE: This place is small and almost unnoticeable when you drive past it. I almost want to call it a hole in the wall because that’s the kind of vibe I get when I enter. It seems family owned and operated and the place has limited seating. Luckily my friend and came right before their lunch rush so we were able to snag a table. The décor and initial feel of the place do NOT do the food justice. FOOD: I got the GYRO. I’m pretty good about trying new things on a menu… but I’m just going to go ahead and say that I don’t want to try anything else. Their gyro is HUGE and delish!!! The lamb meat is cooked well but not dry! They load you up with veggies and taziki sauce. Plus you get a bag of chips and a drink if you get the combo. I’ve never heard anyone complain about this place from my office — in fact we have one of their menus taped to our cubicle wall. OH! And they have a sauce«bar.» It’s basically a tub near the front counter of all their sauces but they have a lot of choices — my recommendation would be the garlic chili sauce(if you like spice and garlic). Definitely good bang for your buck SERVICE: So I’ve heard from everyone that this place is like the Sandwich version of «Cheers» — that is to say, everybody knows your name. When you walk up to the counter the lady who takes your order will ask you who you are and get to know you. She’s really friendly and inviting. The guy who works in the back will come around table to table and ask how you’re doingand even recommend which sauces he thinks would go best with your sandwich. They also do Frequent Foodie cards — that’s not what they’re called(I made that up on the spot, coin it!) but they give you a stamp card. One stamp for every meal bought and I think after 10? You get one free. They honor loyalty — which I appreciate. Super friendly and nice — I will definitely be back.
