What’s better on a scorching hot Texas summer day than a refreshing fruity snow cone? NOTHING!
Tastee ice is awesome. They have so many flavors, toppings, and possible combinations nicely packed in classic Styrofoam cups… who could ask for more.
I’ve been to the Arlington and Irving locations and neither disappoint. First time I tried natural strawberry with chamoya topping which was fruity and spicy and tart all at the same time and in the Irving location I picked up watermelon and chamoya (can’t get away!).
Only draw back is that they don’t offer descriptions of ALL of their specialty flavors so you either ask or go with something familiar. They’re also CASH ONLY so bring your monies.

Goodness. We pass several sno-​cone stands on the way here, but it’s worth it! They always have the perfect ice to syrup ratio and will even customize it to your own preferences, too! Also, although the cherry, grape, and other sno-​cone standards are perfect options, consider checking out some of their special, custom-​made flavors… you can even sample ‘em before you make a decision if you’re not so sure. Tastee-​ice is well worth the drive! Great ice, great syrup, and even greater service.

I passed this place the first time I went hard to see next to the KFC but it’s diffently worth the stop. They have lots of menu items more than just snow cones but the cone is what you come for and you won’t be disappointed.

We aren’t always in Irving — but when we are, we’ll stop here! Tastee-​Ice has THE BEST snow cones in Dallas. It was mid-​May when we stopped in, and the weather was gloomy — but they were open and ready to please. The menu has more flavors and options than you could ever taste! I guarantee you you’ll find your favorite quickly! Great service, cheap prices, huge selection — summer, here we come!
