My wife went there today with my two children(2 and 5) and was waiting patiently in the ONE line that they had. The guy at the checkout told the person in front of my wife that he was going on break and that someone would be with them. After 10 minutes of nobody, my wife(waiting with a 2 and 5 year old(restless kids who just want their toys)) sees a guy at the front putting bikes outside and asks for help. He says that she needs to go to customer service. When she gets there, ANOTHER guy goes on break. What is wrong with your store? Is there a manager who cares? Apparently not. AVOIDATALLCOSTS–

Most HORRIBLE Customer Service I’ve experienced. I purchased the wrong size diapers for my grandson at a different location and attempted to exchange them. The clerk at the Customer Service desk told me to go back to the original store to return the item. Are you kidding me? Who does that nowadays? She had an attitude that I was bothering her! I will not return to this store. It’s obvious by other postings that they don’t care about improving either.

Every time I go in this store there are half a dozen employees wandering around and no one checking anyone out. They have the WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE. There is a reason the toy store is dying. The prices are high and the customer is low on the importance scale. Especially at this store.

I came during Memorial Day weekend to buy some Pampers and a couple of my toys for infant twins. I walked in and went to the service desk to get straight forward directions for what I needed. I wasn’t greeted and was treated like I was bothering them. Them! working at the Customer service desk! I Got my Pampers. I also got a finger point to the neighboring Toys R’ Us for my twins toys. I found a couple of toys on sale and went to check out. The cashier didn’t know of the sales, no big deal he called someone they went to the aisle and never returned. Another employee ended up calling the cashier so I could get my correct price and check out. They we’re giving away Dr. Brown’s bottles with your purchase over $ 20(I’m not firm on this one, but I know I would have qualified because I got them at my local Babies R’ Us) I also never got my twins 10% discount.

Not the best baby store on the block. Massively convenient at the corner of MacArthur and 635, although, their selection often seems slim on popular items. I’ve experienced a couple of instances where the store would be out of stock on certain items and would not have them back in stock for several weeks. Seems unorganized, although the registry staff is very helpful.

I came here last weekend looking to pick up a mattress for our bundle-to-be. I have to say that out of all of the experiences lately, this store had the best customer service! Not only did the gentleman at the front guest services desk help me with a price check on a mattress, but he carried it to the front for me, then out to load it into my car, all without my asking him to! As a 7 month pregnant lady, thank you! I called the store mgr to tell her about this awesome employee and she told me that it was his first day! Great training Babies R’ Us, we will definitely be back!

So, I was in here a few weeks ago and the lady checking me out was so sweet. How I have managed to be a parent for almost six years and NOT have a ToysRUs Rewards card is beyond me, but she hooked me up. Yeah for more junk mail! We went back in yesterday for the spontaneous bicycle purchase and, of course, they had several bikes my son could choose from. He rode them around the store and picked the coolest one. Not only did the guy assemble the bike while we waited($ 10) but I found out we could bring in my son’s old bike to get $ 20 off. I went back the next day(today) without my receipt, but thanks to my rewards card it didn’t matter. I was relieved to see the same lady at the counter who hooked me up a few weeks ago and she credited the $ 20 to my card. WooHoo!!!

I only shop at a toy store once a year… to buy a toy to get into Margarita Ball. Now I know what you’re thinking… «Oh this guy is just great. He just buys toys so that he can drink and carouse all night at some giant booze fest.» If that’s what you’re thinking… you would be right. I went right before Thanksgiving, and this place has their act together. They had already placed arrows on the floor for Black Friday, showing where the line would navigate so to prevent line traffic inside. They seemed ready for the shopping season. I had a specific need for Margarita Ball. I wanted to shop for a underprivileged 12 year old boy. I had heard that older kids often get left out, because people tend to donate younger stuff. So I made a decision to shop older this year. I grabbed a guy from electronics. He was funny, witty, and good-natured when I told him that one of his ideas was dumb. He pointed me toward some great gift ideas, and I settled on an RC Iron Man car and a Guitar. The price labeling was a little messed up on the Guitar. So that was frustrating. I got all the way to paying, only to learn the cost was double. So then I had to get in another line to get a refund/exchange for the correct guitar. Each individual was amazingly effective and fast. The Toys R Us process was a little bulky and annoying. So even though the employees were clearly moving quickly, we were always waiting on the right person to come over, or for the right machine to do the right thing. I actually realized it after we got to the last«pay» screen at check-out. The checkout girl said, «Well its too late now(even though I hadn’t swiped). We have to finish this process and then you have to go to Customer Service desk. Now in the middle of the day, middle of November, that’s no big deal. But during the holiday, that would have been reeeeeaaaalllly upsetting. I did have a great experience. Good luck on the holiday shopping, all!

Definitely disappointed in this Babies R Us in comparison to the one in Dallas off of 75. That one has free wrapping stations and when I’m rushing to a baby shower that is a very important feature. Instead this place only has super expensive baby bags(minimum of $ 5 for a small bag?! you have to be joking). In addition they don’t have a huge selection or anything, and so there’s nothing unique about them. Also, their customer service people are kind of rude and unhelpful, the nicest person was the one printing registries. Bleh, I’ll go somewhere else.
