The Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) is the largest Christian broadcasting network in the United States. My former mother-​in-​law Joy (!) loved it. She could get a snoot full of Jesus without getting her big ass off the sectional.
Anyway, check out the photo I’ve attached. It’s of the TBN headquarters in Irving, Texas. Having checked out the photo, answer the following simple question: What the fuck?
It’s a replica of the WHITE HOUSE! Fronted by some kind of weird-​assed, bronze-​pedestaled WARRIOR JESUS! In fact, from a distance, WARRIOR JESUS, intended to depict the triumphant King of Kings, more effectively evokes that creepy rubber-​faced Burger King mascot that makes you want to hide your kids.
Still, can you imagine a more crass expression of theocratic ambition? I cannot.
