University of Dallas

Although it is a Catholic-​based university, there is nothing Christian about the way they treat their students. The administration is in it only for the money. Once you are accepted, they could care less about you, your education, or your well-​being. The administration and staff are so self-​absorbed and self-​righteous. Do not go to UD! Wolves in sheep’s clothing!

I still believe my B.A. holds value and that the Rome semester was worth it. UD is a gem of classical education.
However, as many of the female graduates go on to pursue home-​making, it is not difficult to see why UD lacks a solid financial trust.
Do many UD grads pursue ambitious careers? Most are ordinary.
If I did it over again, I would try to buy both degree and network.

NOT a place for working adults to get your undergraduate degree unless you work nights. The staff person (lady) in the school of business office was rude too, didn’t even want to talk to me. She was trying to discourage me from even asking for information before she even found out that I work days and not evenings. Shocked the place is still open after all these years.

One of my favorite small university.

I’m a fall 2012 graduate of the University of Dallas School Of Business. During my search for a school location and flexibility for working adults were the factors that were important to me. I ultimately settled on UD because of their remote campus in Frisco and their commitment to improvement.
When I attended the information session back in 2008 they spoke about working to gain the AACSB International (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) which is the highest accreditation for a business school (i.e. Harvard, Yale etc.). In Dec. 2012 the school received the accreditation and is continuing to look for ways to improve the education experience.
I found the coursework to be relevant to current business trends as well as challenging in a way that you would expect graduate level courses to be. The professors have varying backgrounds in business and academia. Classes sizes tend to be small and the student population diverse. Overall I’m satisfied with the education that I received at UD.
Probably my main disappointment was the decision to close the remote campus in Frisco which was a large factor in my decision to attend. In my final two years I struggled to drive across the metroplex from Plano to Irving 2 — 3 times a week to attend classes. I realize it was a financial decision but it greatly impacted my quality of life so for that reason I can’t give it 5 stars.
Making the decision to further ones education is a major commitment and UD makes it possible.

My husband began his MA at UD in 04 and his PhD in 08. Though the school is a private Catholic institution, many reformed Protestants have found UD’s classic approach both challenging and rewarding.

The University of Dallas is a Catholic center of academia with a diverse liberal arts undergrad, several masters programs a PhD program and an English-​as-​a-​second language school.
The MBA at the University of Dallas is recognized worldwide as one of the best.
Being an undergrad here though I will stick to what I know:
The school body is small (about 1,500). Although the majority of the students are Catholic, there is a good amount of healthy academic, political and theological debate within the student body.
