Wife picked me up from airport and we stopped by Via Real. Wow! Where have you been all my life! This place is amazing. Food is incredible and they take service to another level. The owner is an amazing woman and she works the floor and treats you like you are an invited guest in her home. I recommend reservations, especially mid week because of all of the business travelers. Love this place!

Such a great experience here! I booked a private room for a company dinner after reading reviews on Unilocal.Via Real did not disappoint! Alyssa, our private dining coordinator, was great to work with! Gio was our waiter and he was top notch! We had a group of 15 and not a beat was missed from start to finish, despite the restaurant being packed and all of the other private dining rooms being booked! The menu was fantastic — oh that Chilean Sea Bass! My group can be a tough group to please in general, and on top of that, we are foodies and Via Real gets nothing but kudos from everyone!

My first visit to Via Real was for Sunday brunch. The wait staff was outstanding! They have unlimited mimosas and my server never let my glass get less than half empty. The food was very good and I was impressed with the selection of brunch items they had on the buffet bar. My only complaint was the temperature of the food coming off the bar was inadequate. I tried the eggs Benedict and the waffle and both word just luke warm.

Amazing brunch. Great deal with bottomless mimosas. The food was spot on, the price was amazing, and the drinks refilled themselves. Far better than anything though was our main man Ed. If you go request him. He’ll make your Sunday.

Via Real is hands down the best food in Las Colinas! I love their Via Chicken Salad for lunch and the Pork Loin Fajitas for dinner. I have honestly never had anything bad though. Brent, the general manager, is awesome and always goes above and beyond to make sure we are well taken care of and have an enjoyable experience.

My first visit to Via Real was a good one. I came here for lunch and we were greeted warmly by the valet. Once inside there was a bit of confusion with someone who looked to be the manager visiting with someone just inside the front door. From behind them, a hostess waved at us and motioned us over to her stand, which given the situation would have probably been more professional of her to have come over to greet us. Either way, we were greeted and eventually seated, after they took our name and then immediately sat us. I am always curious as to why, when you are being seated immediately, a place records your first and last name… Maybe someone reading this review can enlighten me as to why restaurants do that. Once seated we were immediately greeted by our waiter and we were brought chips and salsa as well as our drinks. The service was friendly, professional, and pretty on top of it given that right next to us he was handling a 20 top. I ordered chicken fajitas and they were good. The order was a bit heavy on onions for my taste, but it was all good. The people I came with all enjoyed their dinners, which ranged from shrimp quesadillas to enchiladas, to a variety of tacos. One of the real hits at Via Real that should be noted in any review though is the the ambiance. From fireplaces, to candles, with use of heavy woods and natural rocks and stones this place is beautifully elegant.

Amazing ambience great food. Excellent menu to choose for vegetarians. Always too busy for lunch so make sure to do your reservations. Must try their black bean soup. Adding some more to it, it was a treat to be at las Colinas Via Real. For special occasions like bday they treat you really well. Nice cake slice with Candel and a wonderful group photo. Always loved the food and the service.

This place has great fajitas. Amazing service. They serve a mean margarita as well. Love going here– almost feels like a tiny vacation.

This place is bomb! Food is bomb! My friend brought up the idea and I thought I’d give it a try. AMAZING! Enjoying friends, and family. I think it’s fancy. Lol if you ever been to Matitos, this place is more upscale. Enjoying unlimited mimosas !

A big surprise, because the food was just so good. I had the tenderloin tacos, and they were some of the best I have ever had. Service was really good, and the prices were reasonable for what you were getting. I will say that the margarita was a disappointment. It was huge(28oz) but was way too sweet, made from sweet and sour mix, and very weak.

Excellent dinner location, and from the reviews looks like a great brunch. Table shard a bottle of Cabernet. Beef nachos to share Scallops were outstanding Shrimp Diablo They had some great seafood options, and a few red meat options that sound good.

Great place! I am in the area on business(from Los Angeles) and decided to come here because of the Unilocal reviews and was pleasantly surprised… A coworker and I walked in for a table around 6:30 pm on 11÷17÷15 and was greeted by the lovely host named Sam… She informed us that unfortunately reservations had booked the restaurant for the evening but that we were welcome to sit in the bar area Upon entering the crowded bar area, we found one lonely stool in the corner which we decided to inhabit… At which point, I noticed Sam speaking to the incredibly accommodating bartender, Enrique. She then proceeded to come over to me and informed me that the gentlemen next to us had ordered a to go meal and should be leaving soon so that we may have his chair… Which was great customer service! She in no way was obligated to inquire with the bartender on who at the bar may be leaving soon… I felt very taken care of… I’m not sure if this is customary to the Irving/Dallas area but it is definitely out of the norm for LA Thank you for the good food and great service!

Let’s keep this review simple. This is TEXAS, and the fare offered at Via Real may be great for an older blander demographic… but, for a foodie who appreciates Latin fare, this eatery is a mockery to the genre. The location and money dumped into the venue says upper-class, yet it’s far to tacky, even for a state where bigger is better. sorry guys… spend your money at your own risk

This is a rare for me. I have always liked this restaurant because of the wide range of veggie options and phenomenal service so I thought to myself, «maybe my husband and I should try this awesome lunch buffet everyone keeps talking about!.» If you can… Make sure you take a small loan from your bank prior to sitting down because at $ 54 for two people, the food was average, at best. The vegetarian choices on the buffet line were limited and there were no labels on any of the dishes so I had to find someone to ask them what was okay for me to eat. At $ 25/person, I was expecting to be blown away. Instead I was met with cold, tasteless hashbrowns and eggs, and a salad bar where everything tasted like bacon. It was also FREEZING in this place. Then, I kindly asked a server for veggie options and he said they could make me a veggie enchilada! I was thrilled thinking that I usually love their veggie enchiladas! I was again met with plain, tasteless zucchini and squash rolled up in a corn tortilla and served with tomatillo sauce on top. This is nothing like the awesome enchiladas you guys serve for dinner… What happened? My husband, who is a carnivore, said he wanted to go to IHOP afterward so he could get some«real» and more importantly, HOT breakfast. I won’t be returning for a while, either they change the ridiculous price for the cold and tasteless buffet or maybe add some flavor and heat, literally. I gave two stars because our server and the hostess were very sweet.

I love dining here when we have extra time for lunch. I would highly recommend ANY of their enchiladas. They are my favorite!!! They always have certain specials going on, and certainly sound amazing. Because I’m the type to go there for what I want, I have yet to try anything else lol. Great tex-mex food and reasonably priced!

Today reminded of why I have to find a way to get Via Real into my lunch rotation! The food, the service and the aura are top-notch and they far exceed standard lunch expectations. Compared to other lunch options in Las Colinas, they far-exceed in terms of standards, customer service, delivery, presentation and food quality. The prices are slightly higher than you’ll pay at other Las Colinas eateries, but not to the point where it will break your pockets. I believe in paying well for good food. For instance, the chimichanga lunch special is only $ 9 and comes with rice and beans(not your typical flavorless rice and canned refried beans.) Truly homemade with love and authentic. The lunch specials are around $ 16, which I highly recommend because they rotate their specials often and I have never been disappointed with any of the chef’s specials or lunch specials. Based on the quality of the food and how pleasant the atmosphere is, $ 16 isn’t bad. I’d rather pay $ 16 here than to spend $ 12 elsewhere for poorly delivered and mediocre cuisine. This place is a few blocks from my office, so I decided to meet my other half here for a lunch date today. I had been there at least four times before. My other half had never been there. One of today’s specials was the Adobo Steak Enchiladas. Of course I opted for that. I like to try signature dishes and chef’s specials when I dine out for the sake of trying different things and in response to my diversified and eclectic palate. I am so glad I made this choice. The steak was perfectly seasoned and well-proportioned. I definitely got bang for my buck with this dish. The steak-to-tortilla ratio was perfect and the sauce was well-balanced and evened out to complement the dish rather than to overpower it. I will definitely be adding this place to my regular lunch rotation. Truly the best in the area in terms of class, delivery and quality.

This is the definition of 5 star dining. Intriguing atmosphere, top notch service, and DELICIOUS food. Everything on the menu sounded good, and we ordered everything from the shrimp pasta, camarones al Diablo, the surf n turf special and the plank filet(make sure to ask about the items NOT listed on the menu!) We could not have asked for a better experience! The owner came over to our table and enchanted us — I sincerely hope I get the chance to come back ASAP! Perfect for celebrations or nice client lunches/dinners. Apparently, it is a much bigger lunch spot than it is dinner, so I would suggest going for dinner so you can be seated right away with no crowdedness.

We came here for Sunday brunch. It was my first time here and I liked it a lot:-) I can’t wait to return again. Where do I begin… We came early and it got busy fast so a reservation is recommended. Their Sunday brunch buffet comes with most drinks, like tea or soft drinks I think… Also mimosas which we had. :-) I think it would have been better if they were chilled alittle longer, bc they came out almost room temp but I was happy. It didn’t matter. The food was really good. The best buffet I’ve had in awhile. We really liked the empanadas, black beans, and enchiladas. I liked the guacamole and salsa:-) also they had Belgian waffles and an omelette bar, which I didn’t get to try since I was already getting full. One con was the buffet covers made it difficult to reach the items in the back of heat tray. We all thought that was alittle awkward. For dessert I liked the flan and key lime pie:-) the fruit was really sweet and fresh too. Other than that we all had a good time and enjoyed our meals. Our server was James and he was polite and courteous. Will come back again.

Was here for a company dinner and mixer. Décor is very nice and kept very clean. Lighting is perfect with lots of candles everywhere with great smells! Staff is very friendly and attentive the entire time and you can get them to laugh with you! Salsa, queso, guacamole were all very good. Tortilla soup was good but not in my top five. I also had the chile relleno and was very disappointed in quality expected much more! Tasted a few other plates with people around and chicken was good so were fajitas. Best part was desert the key lime, and chocolate are must haves yummy goodness!
