I’ve been going to Wash Guys for years. I think the best word to describe their service is «inconsistent.» Sometimes when I go, the wash is outstanding and is great value for the price. Other times it’s a complete waste of money. As an example, I just got my car washed here, paid for the $ 50 interior «detail» package which includes the dash cleaning, but the dash wasn’t even cleaned. The conditioner wasn’t used, there’s dust everywhere because they didn’t wipe it down, and the vacuuming was haphazard at best. Other times, my car looks fantastic. It’s a dice roll. In general, I’ve found that coming in relatively early during the week gets the best wash.
I give the business 4 stars overall because, more times than not, they do a great job. However, don’t be confused — there are absolutely some times that I’ve been here where the service is an easy 1 – 2 stars (as with my latest wash). It really just depends who’s working and whether they actually care or not. However, I keep coming back because when it’s good — which it usually is — it’s really good.
I would avoid coming during peak periods (during the day on the weekends) as the wait can be quite long. For a basic interior clean, on peak hours it can take 60 – 90 minutes. When it’s not busy, it takes less than 30.

Super slow service. They are understaffed to accommodate for the weekend crowd. One of the employees lied and stated that she didn’t speak English, but she was very fluent! While leaving I noticed they left one of their cleaning bottles in my car. There was also spots still on my car.

This place is not the place they did not clean my car good at all I paid for a 19.00 wash and I told the clerk they did not dry my car he said you need to spend more money, more money you did not do a good job for 19.00 why in the world would I trust you with more money frist and last time. If you pay these people more the 10.00 you have been cheated. Do the job we pay you to do and stop getting over on people do not use them go to another carwash

Unless you have all day, don’t bother coming here. We have been here 30 minutes and our car has not moved in line. Guy said 45 minutes! For a basic car wash??? Seriously!

This place is awesome! They did an incredible job for half the price I had expected. If you don’t like waiting an hour for a great detailing but do like a courteous, professional, and THOROUGH staff definitely check it out. If your just in for a car wash you don’t even have to get out of the car. If your in for the detailing they’ve got a giant lounging area with free popcorn!

A bunch of rip off artist. My ticket on the windshield said one price. The credit card receipt was $ 9.00 more. Went back and they didn’t want to refund me the money. I gave you the short version of the story, so in summary DO NOT GO THERE!!!

Worst. Car wash. Ever. The external wash is just a machine wash that you drive through. The internal wash was pitiful. Not only was there still plenty of dirt crumbs and streaks and dog hair all over the car, but they managed to somehow dislodge several pieces of the car that I had to sort of jimmy back into place. Silly. Will not go back.

They have done an awesome job on my ranger every time I go. As long as I’m here in Dallas I will always use them.

They even have wi-​fi, popcorn, and a waiting room with loads of chairs and tv.
Also, there’s a coupon available via Unilocal!mobile. Or at least, there was when I visited.

Slow, expensive and do not clean the spots you ask. Not worth the money. It hasn’t been the same since the new ownership took over.

Terrible service. Over charged me to remove some tar off my car. Lack of communication as to where you go after the wash. Wait time was over an hour. Very disappointed. Kwik Kar was definitely better.

This used to be Kwik Kar and I was a fan of them. Now that it’s Washguys, it’s a whole new system. Instead of dropping your car off and going inside, you pull up and sit inside the car while your car is being washed. Upon exiting the washing lane, there was no one directing where you’re supposed to go and no one bothered to tell me I was in the wrong lane. Then it took over an hour for my car to finally be attended to. For a basic car wash, this took way too long and it was unorganized. I probably won’t return.

I am not a car wash aficionado by any means. Just a girl with a car, that would like it cleaned. I entered into the parking lot and did not see the long line until I was to the front of the building. I decided I wanted to turn around and try it another time, but there was NO EXIT. So I stayed in line and purchased the $ 15 Deluxe car wash. I entered into the line at 1:15pm on a Friday and was finally finished at 1:38pm. It took over twenty minutes, in what i thought was going to be a quick «run through». My car was then hand dried an my tires/​rims were also cleaned. I had asked the gentleman to wipe the back of my car off, but he didn’t understand English.
I was not disappointed with my car wash, just the amount of time. I would probably visit again, but only if I had more than an hour.

Used Unilocal like I always do to find great places to patronize. This car wash was 1 of 7 in the area that was an actual car wash. There was also a check-​in incentive, it happened to be a free basic car wash. When coupon came up it had expired Feb 2015. I went anyway intending they would honor their advertisement. WELL THEY DIDNT WANT TO!!! I understand a few days expired but not a whole month that is negligence in advertising and bordering duping or bating a customer. Long story short I asked for mgr who honored but only after not wanting to. Gave them 4 stars because 1) it was a free wash with no window wipe off, 2) issues with incentive coupon, 3) fact they honored the advertisement.

worst place to have your car cleaned. It used to be a nice place when it was Kwik Kar, now is just an overprice hell, a 2 year old could have done a better job. The dash is all dusty after they ‘clean it’ carpet still full of dirt, rims still not cleaned properly and lots of missed spots. Never coming back, $ 30 to the trash…

This is the worst car wash. It used to be Kwik Kar wash here before this establishment and it was alright but this new place is NOT.
Went there for quick wash and line was long but was moving fairly quick.
The wash was OK but the dryer wasn’t too effective and there was this very young girl of 11 – 12, probably owner’s daughter, directing the car coming out of the washing shelter with a wipe cloth in hand. They didn’t offer to dry the car and I didn’t want to ask that poor kid to wipe it. All other, adult workers were busy tending more detailed cleaning cars on the other side.
Isn’t that child labor? Oh, sure, it only happens in third world countries. When it happens here, never mind, it is training for being responsible.
Needless to say, when I reached home it had all these watermarks. This new owner, not sure what he is thinking but I was expecting a dry wipe even though it was a basic wash.
Will NEVER EVER GO HERE again!!!

Horrible experiences. The prices have been raised dramatically with the new ownership. Last wash there took over 20 minutes to get dried and out… not enough folks to get it done. With the plethora of car wash facilities in the area, pick another.

First visit was great… This is my second visit and was really dissapointed. First had to wait for an attendant who was eating his pastry. Then I was there on a return free wash. And boy was it ever free. No one to put back my antenna or even dry my car which was really wet.
I am sorry but there service level need to be raised. There are two other car washes closer and way more friendly. On the first visit over heard the manager tell his employee he was doing it wrong. But he did everything for me and even answered my questions. I will really have to think app it coming back .
Also the monthly rate is not worth me driving my pin car thru and not being able to dry my truck off. Cause it does go thru and even though there is a blower., it is really wet. And really missed some spot on my truck.

Loved the people and the flow. I was hesitant to come in given what I read on Unilocal but everything I had a great experience. Love the end new management.

This place used to be Kwik Karr car wash. Now it’s Wash Guys. Should be called Wash Idiots because the new mgmt clearly has ruined an otherwise delightful local car wash.
Can you tell I hate the place now? First, you can’t replace good management with signs posted at every turn. This place tried. Right out of «how not to run a business,» polices are posted throughout the place relevant to what you’re looking at.
First, my coupon card for Kwik Kar was no longer honored under the new mgmt, which any decent company would honor to keep the relationship customers have with the location.
Second, they raised their prices about $ 4 over Kwik Karr. Nice.
Third, the service is now run with half the staff. So everything takes longer. Now go
Back to my original point about the new owners: Clueless Baboons.
Today was the last straw: They were turning away business because the credit card machine was down. Cars were pulling up and then leaving. I went through because I happened to have cash on me. What business can’t swipe a credit card and charge it later? Maybe a business ran by brain dead high school dropouts.
Don’t go here. There are other better places one block down or even one block up off Beltline.
One good thing about the place: the quality of the work is equal to Kwik Karr. But the profits-​at-​all costs model that sacrifice customer service at a high price isn’t worth the bother in a city like Dallas.
Can’t imagine these bozos will still be in business a year from now.

Bought platinum service. After paying, learnt that I have to drive it through the car wash. That’s not what I paid for. It’s not a gas station, suppose to be a full service wash. I refused. The cleaner put my car on the rails and started dragging it while my car was on parked mode. Fortunately, I noticed the car tilting to its side. I immediately notified them.
When I was handed the keys, the car was not cleaned, scrubbed at the front. There was pests stucked to the front grill. They did not clean it and said I should have purchased the deep clean option.
I am not going there again. Please do me a favor by not bringing your business to them.

Watching your wet car dry in the sun for 15 minutes before anyone «hand drys» it. I used to love this place, but the new ownership has 0 idea how to please customers or run a business. They just lost my business for good and will go somewhere else.

First of all, let me say that I have written very few reviews. I run a division of a Fortune 500 company myself and seldom have time to contribute to the Unilocal community. But I am sitting here waiting, so here it is.
I have no idea what the new owners of this place have done to the car wash process. It went from super easy to strange.
Here are the issues
1. People want to drop off their dirty car and get it back perfectly clean. Period. They do not want to host their car along the way. And they do not want to experience multiple steps/​stages.
2. After driving my own car through the car wash (this is new), it comes out wet. Before, some nice young lad would be there to immediately dry it off. Now you park your car in yet another line, only to watch it air dry as it waits for the interior cleanse.
3. There is no longer a cash register. Yes, that means less labor to pay for the owner, and it also will mean less tips for the workers, as no one really carries cash any longer.
4. There is no frequent wash program.
5. For heavens sake, if you are going to have a tv, at least make sure it works. It has a satellite connection CLEARLY not professionally installed. I think bunny ears would be more effective.
I plan on still coming here, but ONLY when there is absolutely no line for the interior wash part, as that appears to be the part of the process that bottlenecks. And when it does, you have to watch the hard water spots air dry on your car in the hot summer weather…
