Ive been wanting some Jamaican food everyday. I live right down the street from Golden Crust but by the time you finish cussing them out for trying to give you bones, I lose my appetite. Anywho, I had passed Sticky’s a few times, however was a bit skeptical because hole-in-the-walls are usually a HIT or MISS, and I didn’t want to chance my liking for curry goat. But, heard they had the real so I took the risk and am so glad I did. The food is most excellent! The festival tastes just like the housekeeper’s in Jamaica!

Stickys is a staple in my family. The food is super authentic and it’s so filling. Everything is fresh and handmade, no prepackaged seasonings like those other chain Island restaurants. The prices are reasonable but not exactly cheap. The portions make up for it. Sticky is one of the nicest guys and you can taste the love he puts in his food. Everything is takeout so you have to eat in your car or take it home. Definitely worth eating here!

I haven’t tried anything too crazy yet just because I’m slowly getting into Caribbean Food. So far I’ve tried the beef patty with coco bread. Looking at it, your sure to get a mouth full. It looks like a sandwich stuffed in a sandwich. The first bite was amazing. Warm, fluffy coco bread and the hot, steamy, lightly spicy beef patty made a perfect marriage. I also had a side of Mac and cheese. It wasn’t too bad. It wasn’t like moms but it wasn’t from a Kraft box so i was beyond appreciative for that. Finish ever thing off with a Jamaican Coconut Soda. This lunch just may give you an accent by the time your done.
