I’m sure I was not the only one shocked to see that X Games won’t serve ANY alcohol. I mean, I get it kindof but it was still surprising to me!

They did have the Seoul Sausage truck, and other food booths (burritos, good bbq brisket & pulled pork sliders, aguas frescas, funnel cakes, kettle corn, roasted corn, nuts) in addition to the regular junky concessions hot dogs & sodas.
The skateboarding competition was pretty impressive & general admission seating offered great views of the huge skate ramps.
Considering the police presence, you’d think the crowd would’ve been crazy — but when alcohol is absent, people are pretty mellow, haha. On the day I went, it felt like families with kids, so a really wide range of ages.
Awolnation & Madeon were great onstage in the evening.
Parking was $ 10.
