This has been one of the worst contractor experiences of my life. And that was one of the selling points was how superior there customer service and professionalism is compare to your«local» contractors. My personal project manager still won’t call me back even after I have called corporate headquarters and was informed he would. The shingle I was shown was not the one that was installed. All this company keeps stating is I got what I signed for. Yes I signed for slate. But that is not the slate color I was shown but the sales rep. When I complained to the project manager he said he would come visit and get it resolved. But he had to try to get the dumpster removed from my street 1st which sat there for 3 weeks. I have been pushed aside for 2 months and now I was just told sorry nothing can be done. The customer service agent never showed understanding or remorse towards me and when asked for a manager he informed me he was the manager. I told him he didn’t once apologize for me having a bad experience or say I’m sorry for your trouble. Again he just told me well you picked that color and the project manager would contact me. Yes that project manager who still hasn’t called. The price for the roof was extremely overpriced which they admit but that’s bc of there professionalism and«Peace of Mind». They are just another big business who will charge a premium rate and deliver sub standard performance of work.

I just had my third job done by Power. They previously did my windows and roof, and since both of those were great experiences, I had no hesitation to have them replace my doors as well. As always, this was a professional installation with great service.

I had met power remodeling at the home expo last weekend. Everyone was super friendly and helpful at the expo. We scheduled an appointment immediately the following week. A representative arrived to my home within the appointment time frame. He was super friendly and was very personable… Almost too personable. I wanted quotes on my sliding door and Windows, however I live in a condo. I wanted something different than what I had and wanted an estimate for different doors to present to my homeowners association which the salesman did not recommend and could not provide me with. The salesman took about an hour to explain how great the power remodeling company is, which is fine and dandy but it was really late and I didn’t really need to hear all the spiel. Finally he measured everything and explained what was going on with my windows and doors. Yes there were some physical problems and he did a great job answering all of our concerns. Then he went to his car and brought in a huge bag that included samples and a heating lamp. He showed us the durability of their windows for another hour. Finally he quoted us for the today price if we signed with him that day and the one year good for price which was a $ 2,000 difference. I guess my only problem with this is Why quote us for two different prices and then not give us obviously the cheaper price. The time and energy spent on a sale pitch should be worth it to get the sale within one year. It’s too bad since he was my first estimate. My only tip would be to call this company for an estimate as your last estimate. They may be able to provide you with some discounts if you have other companies to compare to.

Last weekend, I went to a street fair, and an gentleman approached me about fixing my home. He was insistent on giving me a «no obligation quote» that’s good«indefinitely», so I figured«why not?». He took about 15 minutes to schedule this appointment due to their«system issues», but I was being polite and did not rush them. I set up an appointment for Monday evening at 6pm. The sales rep was over 30 min late to our appointment. His presentation was rather long and I was losing interest. To give you an idea, he didn’t measure my windows until he took over an hour to explain how amazing this company is. NOTE: I had never heard of this company until I went to the street fair. Finally, he measured the windows, then disappeared to his car to bring in props. He later went back again to bring in a sample window. I asked him how much longer it was going to take, and he said, oh just 2 more minutes. The presentation was about 2 hours in total. When he got to the part about the pricing, he showed me sample window quotes for about 10 other companies. At this point, I just wanted him to get to the bottom line and give me the quote already. I had worked a long day and it was getting late. When he gave me the quote, I told him that I wasn’t going to make a decision on the spot because I hadn’t really thought much about replacing the windows. He then tried to be my friend and asked me what my «plan» was to replace the windows, since it’s so dire. He asked me pretty personal questions about what I could afford each month and how I paid to replace my floors. When he finally got the hint that I wasn’t going to buy windows on a whim after going to a street fair, his tone changed completely. He wouldn’t look me in the eye and did not shake my hand. When I asked him to send me a formal quotation via email, he said something like«well, I’m not going to email you all the information I just presented to you, it’s on our website». That’s not what I meant– clearly, I meant a price quotation. Anyway, it’s 5 days later, and I have yet to receive a formal quote via mail or email. I guess I hurt his feelings so badly by not buying on the spot that he didn’t think it was worth writing up. So to all homebuyers out there, I am sure this company has a fine product, but if you aren’t into aggressive sales pitches, steer clear of this company.

Couldn’t say anything but excellent things about Power Home Remodeling!!! We have used their services for a couple of different home improvement projects and each time we are completely satisfied. Sales reps are not pushy and the installers are punctual, polite, efficient, and answer any questions that come up. When installation is finished, Scott comes by to give a final inspection and to make sure we are completely satifisified with everything.
