Tab Transmissions

So we had an F-​150 with over 150k miles and the engine completely went, like full blown explosion. Tom from TAB did an amazing job getting the truck back on the road. He salvaged as many parts as he could, as well as installing a new engine with warranty and servicing the transmission. She is now back in business with a quick turnaround and we thank TAB and Tom for their attention to detail as well as their trustworthy service. Highly recommended!

It is rare to find someone with the integrity that your shop has! I brought my SUV in with a 4 wheel drive problem, the initial estimate was $ 2,600.00 for a new transfer case. Tab discovered it was a wheel bearing and electronic problem, and fixed it in ONE DAY for $ 600.00! You will not find a more qualified or honest mechanic anywhere!!! Thanks again, Tab Transmissions!

Unfortunately, I was in need of a transmission shop. We went to Aamco, who said they would rebuild the engine for $ 2500. We searched Unilocal for a local place to get a 2^nd opinion and saw the positive reviews for Tab Transmissions.
As another poster said, the guys at Tab were very upfront and honest with us and didn’t try to rip us off. They told us that there were a myriad of other things wrong with the car, which were most likely affecting the transmissions performance, and that the total cost to get our car running as it should be just wasn’t worth it. I truly appreciated their honesty, because they could have just done the work and profited from it, as Aamco would have, but instead they overlooked the money to give the best service.
I highly recommend this place. I told them that I hope to never have to see them again, but if I’m ever in the unfortunate need of transmission work I will definitely come see them.

I really appreciated the service here! My beautiful, but terribly old, ’95 Toyota Tercel had starting slipping out of 4^th into neutral. One of the guys here was nice enough to look at my car right away, and after investigating, told me what I didn’t want to hear– that it wouldn’t be worth the cost of even fixing my car.
Even though I didn’t want to hear that I needed a new car, I respect this place for telling me the truth and not trying to get me to do more work on a dying car. I can only imagine that they do a great job on all sorts of transmissions work and def. will be recommending them to any of my friends who have transmission problems.

We had the transmission on my wife’s Chrysler minivan replaced TAB over a year ago and have had no further problems. The work was done fast and for a bit less than quoted. We’ve known the Glowinski family for over 10 years and know first hand their personal and business integrity. Have no fears about your gears!

After a year of sitting and neglect my wife’s ’99 Honda Civic was driving awful. Had the pros at TAB take a look at it and uncovered the transmission was completely shot. Tom and team recommended a replacement over repair and we agreed on the service. Car was done very fast and drives smooth as butter! Very honest folks, great shop (Super clean) and awesome customer service! A++ Shop!
