This is going to have to be a multi-visit review, there was so much that went wrong with Adrienne’s. The basics: –They’re horrifically rude –They do not seem to speak with each other or write anything down, which means you have to answer the same questions, fight about whether or not you’ve paid each charge, and get different answers each time you ask admittedly-complicated questions like«what days are you open?» –They have two shops in NY and Long Island, which seems convenient, but then they cannot get the correct dresses in the correct location. In my case, that ended up with them shipping my dress because I live in Boston and could not«just stop in on Tuesday.» Which leads to the next one — –Not only did they ship the dress uninsured and untrackable, they shipped it to the wrong address. Thankfully, they shipped it to a very nice guy who was bright enough to call the cell number on the shipping label, which at least was mine, even though I think Adrienne’s was not supposed to do that. the box had clearly been run over at least once and left out on a stranger’s porch for one or two days. Also, he was about to leave on a three-week vacation, so I very nearly missed receiving the dress. Since they had just postal-mailed it, I never would have known where it went. –Also, they shake down the bride for final payments in cash. Yes, cash. Hundreds of dollars in cash or no wedding dress for you, three days before your wedding.
