Never, ever will I step foot in this place again. The owner is cruel to his employees and humiliated them in front of his customers. I saw this too many times before I eventually told him how I felt and explained to the employee that she didn’t have to take that. With the amount of times he’s done this, I’m surprised people still give this guy money. Not a chance. Islip Country Deli gets my money.

I grew up here and moved to Texas. Everytime I come back to New York which is once a year I come back here every morning no matter where I am in relation to Islip. This is hands down the best place I’ve ever had an egg sandwich in my life. I started eating here when I was 11 years old and I’m almost 28 years old! I can’t get higher then 5 stars, but I’d give this place the highest star always.

This deli is the best there is, I love everything they have, always hot sandwiches and fresh! Perfectly priced for what you’re getting. Shout out to the Kleibers supreme — best sandwich on the menu (try it with munster cheese instead of swiss too!). Love this place!

Awesome little gem hidden from plain sight. Great egg sandwich and bang for your buck! Great service as well, friendly and courteous. Will def go again!

Big fan of Kleiber’s. Giant sandwiches, real butter, perfectly cooked roast beef, high quality cold cuts, great staff. My go to place for beach breakfast and lunch. Two people can share one hero. If you call in a sandwich for the beach and ask to pack it for the beach, they’ll do a nice job for you. I usually get the Italian sub but I’ve gotten other sandwiches there including breakfast sandwiches, BLT, roast beef, bologna and buttered bagels (from Bagel Boss). All delicious. I haven’t had a bad experience at Kleinbers. Oh, and it’s very conveniently located for me.

A neighborhood landmark. Great sandwiches, convenient, familiar, and hidden in plain sight. Love this place.
