I will never return to this poorly managed place again. My girlfriend and I had been to this place awhile back and had a decent experience. I heard there is a new owner now who will clearly put this place under shortly. First off, they charged $ 10 a person admission for a band that took a 15 minute break every 45 min. Second, our waitress was rude, not properly trained to explain the menu and drinks, and down right condescending(i.e. My girlfriend got a dirty martini that was horrible and her response was, «Have you ever had a dirty martini?») Lastly, two sandwiches took 45 minutes(band took two breaks before food came) and I ordered a Cajun grilled shrimp sandwich. The shrimp tasted and looked raw. When I asked the server if that was how it was supposed to be, she said she’d return with the owner. She did not return with him, and said the shrimp are pre-cooked frozen shrimp. It was completely translucent and inedible. I didn’t eat it, and she didn’t take it off the bill. Anyway, what kind of restaurant serves pre cooked mush instead of fresh Cajun grilled shrimp? The kind that will be out of business by June!!! I am only giving this place one star because I didn’t vomit after leaving. It’s sad when a nice place goes down the drain!

Awwwwfulllll. Dirty martini tasted like they dumped a dirty bar rag in it. Waitress was rude and her breath was atrocious, almost as bad as her attitude and the food. Such potential, live music and a cool atmosphere but it’s like a cute date with no personality… nice to look at but you can’t wait to leave.

This pace is amazing. If you order a première cocktail, be prepared to experience cocktails that stimulate all pallets. The owner is cocktail mastermind who understands sweet, sour, and everything in between. The music is great and the atmosphere even better.

Ambiance was terrific. Mature crowd with a young vibrant feel. The décor was great. The new owner came out to greet us as soon as we were seated to thank us for choosing Treme to celebrate my wife’s birthday. I spoke to him via email the day before and was very accomodating we made reservations for 10 and ended up with 15. Appetizers were very good and the drinks were great. My wife’s favorite was the Red Velvet Martini. We had the best seat in the house and the band was great. we will definitely be back. Thanks for an awesome night.

Unique and unexpected! I have passed by this place numerous times and really wasn’t sure what to expect. I stopped by tonight to for a cocktail and had great time. Bar was well stocked and first thing I noticed and smelled was fresh mint leaves at the bar. The bartender Mark was professional and on point. They offer specialty craft cocktails and had extensive cocktail menu, but I personally enjoy straight up grey goose martini. This isn’t a place I would expect to have a big dinner. They do have a small menu which offers some sandwiches and appetizers. I ordered Cajun shrimp and quesadillas which were very good. I waited until around 8 when the jazz band started. They have live jazz and blues bands play on different nights of week which is really cool and different. There aren’t many places around here with live jazz and blues bands. The owner introduced himself just before I left. He also had me try a fresh homemade pomegranate grenadine which he made himself. It’s something you have to try.

Granted, my review should be taken with a grain of salt, as my party and I didn’t even get through the door. We came in around 11 from a different event looking to grab a drink and take a look at what the restaurant was like. We were met with a $ 15 cover each to go into a bar where there was a band playing(understandable) but finishing up relatively soon. To pay $ 45 to listen to the last quarter hour of a set, and for two people to drink so the third can drive, seemed a bit pricey. Between this and what I’ve seen in other reviews, I’m not too keen on trying the place out in full. Would I? Maybe if someone I knew was planning on it, but otherwise, I’ll take a pass.

This is a beautiful space and I had very high hopes. However, a venue that touts live music and charges a $ 10 cover to see a live band should actually allow you in some way to see the band. The banquettes are plushly upholstered and certainly comfortable, but they are so enclosing that you spend the evening staring at the backs of patrons at the bar instead of the real entertainment. So, it was difficult to engage in the music, and equally difficult to converse. Olives were served in a deep crock and were pitted making them difficult and messy to eat. The mixed nuts was crumby and heavy on the peanuts. I was only slightly peeved that it took 45 minutes for 2 sandwiches and 2 appetizers to reach our table. The Muddy Waters Manhattan sounded amazing on the cocktail menu and actually tasted great, however I am a lightweight, so when I have a $ 14 cocktail and don’t get at least a glow something is seriously wrong! Maybe I didn’t drink it fast enough against the rapidly melting pile of ice. The positives of the evening were the perfectly poured by our attentive waiter Rochefort Belgian Double in proper glassware, delicious small plates(dates and asparagus), the band’s set and the fine people at our table.

It is going to be very difficult to articulate my feelings about Treme without coming off as a disgruntled customer. For so many reasons, the night just did not come together the way that it should have given the gorgeous space with an experienced blues band. At first I felt that I couldn’t put my finger on exactly where the fault lied, but when I thought about the whole experience piece by piece, it became very clear. We had 7:30 pm reservations this past Saturday night with friends who had been talking about Treme for quite some time as they love that section of NoLa and enjoy the foods and music of the area. The drive from Westbury was not as long as I thought it would be and upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to see a bustling town with a strip studded with quaint shops and lively bars. Plenty of parking in the rear, we anxiously arrived on time. I thought to myself, «wow, they have someone opening the door for us, how nice«only to be utterly surprised when the handsome young man told us of the 10 dollar cover charge. Even if we are having dinner I asked ??? Yes, yes indeed. We listen to great music year round and I can’t recall the last time that I paid a cover, and especially when we were about to drop about 200 bucks on cocktails and snacks. Our friend had known this and happily shelled out 40 bucks. Stunned and thankful at the same time, I asked him if he knew about this. Yes, he replied… why didn’t you tell us? I knew that you wouldn’t come he said !!! This is true by the way. For 40 bucks we could have bought a bottle and listened to Blues on Spotify !! So we enter this really stunning room. Dark and dramatic, a line of beautiful chandeliers. A few high tops in front and a long bar across the whole left side. The area where the band will play is all the way in the back right corner. The entire right side is a collection of really sexy U shaped bunkettes…5 in total, I believe. Immediately I notice that these cozy booths FACETHEBAR… FACETHETV’s OVERTHEBAR. They do not, in any way, allow you to see the musicians. If you were 8 feet tall and looked left, perhaps you could see over the hight of the booth and strain to see the band, other wise, no way. My friend had deliberately asked to be seated back a bit so that we could hear each other talk… well forget that anyway. No way to converse with anyone at your table except for the person right next to you. It was going to be a very busy night and the hostess was not really able to switch our booth. We almost took the high top in front near the window, but sadly we did not. This would have been a million times better. WHOSHOWCASESMUSICWEEKAFTERWEEKIN A CLUBWHEREPEOPLEFACETHEBARANDNOTTHEMUSIC ?? Here’s a suggestion… place a large mirror over the back wall so that people can at least look up and see what’s going on. Or MOVETHEMUSICTOTHEFRONT and put the high tops in the rear. The are elevated, so people will have a good vantage point looking toward the front of the room. Ok, enough of that. Eventually the kind lady brought a little cozy round chair so I was able to sit in the aisle and see, but no one else in the group could. 3 beers on tap, the rest bottles. Decent selection, all 7 – 9 bucks. One star for Green Flash on tap. Also Victory Golden Monkey bottled and Wells Banana Bread. Decent cocktail menu. Lee M had his usual, a Manhattan. Didn’t even feel a buzz. I had a great cucumber gin drink, delicious, but same… not a whole lot of booze for 12 – 14 bucks. Way too much ice. If I ordered a Coke and it had that much ice, I would have sent it back. Fantastic waiter who was quite busy. Why, I am not sure. But at times it was hard to wave him down… at one point after about 15 minutes I holler to a bus girl«I need a drink now » !! Poor guy comes back. This time no mixer. Give me a Hendriks martini. I am sorry that I did not get a photo. Lee says it was 2» from the rim, I don’t think that it was that bad. But for 15 bucks FILLMYMARTINIGLASSTOTHERIM !!! Spend a moment reading my reviews. I know how full a glass is suppose to be. That’s why so many places(shout out to Snaps in Wantagh) pour a martini at the table. Because it’s usually so full that the waiter may SPILL some. No spilling here. Enough room to carry it on your head with out any sloshing out. It was delicious, with a simple lemon twist. So much so that I later ordered another. «please tell the bartender to fill it up at least half way this time» I joked, no, I instructed. Our friends each had a sandwich. We had the stuffed dates and the asparagus wrapped in Brie and procutto. We started with some pitted olives(never seen this before and we eat olives at every bar where they are on the menu) and mixed nuts(mostly peanuts with crumbs of sweet roasted nuts). Bill came to 189.00 before tax. With tax and tip about a 110 a couple. The music? it was good. Will we be back? nah. But the experience will make for a bunch of good stories.

I discovered this place by accident and ooooo what a happy accident it was ! I had no idea a place like this existed on Long Island. Upon entering on a Sunday evening we sat at the high tops which had a good view of the performers which were the Paige Patterson trio. They were amazing she was so sweet and talented. The food was tasty! Small plates at a fair price and yummy drinks. The place looks like a New Orleans jazz lounge circa 1920s. For sure my new fav spot. The service is good and they take their time bc after all you’re there to enjoy the music and company.

Nice place to come out and check out a live band i taught they was pretty good and lighten up the mood. The drinks are always well prepared with the right amount of liquor its not to weak or not to strong. Food was okay tried out the pecan pie for a sweet treat but wasn’t very pleased.

Service is friendly, but sometimes lacking. There are numerous times we have frequented this establishment and not been assisted by any wait staff for upwards of 10 minutes. We keep coming back for the quality musical acts that they draw — My wife is a music teacher and she is never aesthetically disappointed!!!

Someone said you have to stand and that’s not good Is it true there is not enough seating? Ok so I went there and with a reservation I had no problem… This place is very nice and worth going back also. The music was a great jazz group on a Sunday nite… The wine list is good and the food was good as was the«pecan Pie» They should have some very thin type of pizza on the menu that fits into the theme, which I think they would do good with. The manager or owner should go around and ask people«if everything is good and ok» & would not hurt to be connected Better, with the clients ! All in all I will be back as far as a music venue… Spent 80.00 for 2 people… for wine and food not sure most people would be happy with the quantity we got for that… which worries me for this place to last … The waiters were good no complaints there !

I’m not quite sure how Treme can receive less than five stars. Sure, there’s usually a cover, but they are hosting four+piece bands. The atmosphere and music are fantastic(the ambience and interior design set a great mood), the drinks are well-made, and the food is EXCELLENT. I don’t even like pulled pork, but their pulled pork sliders are something I dream about. Every time I go here I know I need to bring a little extra cash because I can’t just order one or two small plates. Highly recommended.

First time — food was sub-par, the waiter was awesome and we were all happy with the wines by the glass Second time — gave food another shot because they had just opened the last time. It, unfortunately had not improved. Still the same cool waiter. Third time — went with a group of my college friends for a drink before dinner at Tellers down the block, they wanted a $ 20 cover charge to enter, even though there was not a customer in site and they knew we would be gone LONG before the music ever started. I have no problem paying a cover fee what-so-ever for good music, but in my experience if you’re in the establishment they go down the bar and collect it or you leave. To not let a group of women in for a glass of wine hours beforehand is silliness. I wouldn’t bother writing this if the man at the door or the owner/manager was nice about it. The place is gorgeous, but no interior designer can make up for poor food and even worse customer treatment.

I’ll definitely be back to Treme and hopefully sooner rather than later. This review is based on a one-time visit so based purely on the bar experience and entertainment, and we didn’t try much of the food(aside from Pecan Pie for dessert), although the food menu looks awesome. The musicians playing were extremely talented, the live music volume was perfect and the Jazz trio was super tight. We were there on a Sunday and very pleasantly surprised with the half-off wine deal, and also quite pleased with the wine selection(ample) and price point(fair, even without being half price). The pecan pie was also quite enjoyable. Top it all off, the staff was extremely friendly and the service was great. For our next experience, we will definitely be trying the appetizers and entrees! Stay tuned.

This place is awesome. What a fantastic atmosphere. Trendy, vibrant, swanky… I thought the food was good but not great. Maybe some more cajun cuisine. But in every other aspect this place was amazing.

Such a nice place to listen to some good music with good drinks. Don’t expect much from the food part since it’s not meant to be a restaurant. The drink selection is much more extensive. Very elegant and warm interior with good drinks, friendly staff and excellent music. Overall nice experience.

Went back last Friday, second time to Treme. Had dinner before so only had a few drinks, coffee and dessert this time. The band was great — again, high quality musicians and a fun, upbeat vibe. The service was great as it was the last time. Come by and listen to some great music in a fun, welcoming setting. Note: there’s a wide age range here, so you’ll feel at home if your 20 – 30 or 40−50+.
