We got a great deal on a beautiful teak piece of furniture. They shrink wrapped it and loaded it in the car for us. They offer great customer service and a lot of unique and beautiful furniture.

This store is fantastic! It carries a wealth of high-quality antique furniture(although it’s mostly wood pieces) from a range of decades and origins. The owner is very nice and fair — he gave us a great, but fair price on a buffet table for our dining room, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience overall. If you’re looking for a well designed and crafted antique piece for your home, you must check out this store.

This is one of Seattle’s best stores! I have been going in here for about 20 years and own about 10 large pieces from them. The owner is a great laid-back guy who is even willing to deal a bit. Prices are quite fair, especially given their location. They have a lot of unusual items, so it is fun to go in there even when you don’t need anything. The owner is always interested and helpful when I have crazy ideas like turning an English toilet tank into a glass-topped side table… and where else in Seattle are you going to have safe FREE parking?!

This shop has so many great items I would suggest going there with only what you can afford to spend and no plastic or you might be in trouble. Don’t get me wrong — their prices are totally fair for the items — not overpriced junk as I have seen in some stores. As far as service, I found the folks there to be helpful, friendly, kind and informative. I don’t necessarily look like your standard moneybags antique shopper and that did not seem to have any negative effect on their attitude toward me. It seems to me that some unfair low ratings have been logged here by some bratty tourists. I wonder if the shop keeper may have felt he needed to follow them around to make sure they didn’t abuse any of his wares. I suspect this is a common danger for shopkeepers in Pioneer Square as groups of over privileged disrespectful children traipse through on their way to the next«it» bar.

I discovered Antique Importers while on a quest to find the perfect Danish Modern coffee table and my journey soon came to an end as I set foot in the shop. There it was sitting atop another table, the Holy Grail of my coffee table crusade. It was a true Danish piece, it was teak, it was vintage, and most importantly it wasn’t ridiculously over-priced like a lot of tables on eBay or Craigslist. I must have had a completely different experience then some of the other reviewers at Antique Importers. The owner, Chris I believe his name is, was very friendly the entire time I was in the store. He never followed me around with his arms crossed, scowling, or treating me like a potential criminal, and yes, I do fall into the 25 – 30 year old looking age range. Actually, he was quite helpful and answered several questions that I had regarding the table and even took $ 10 off the delivery cost for me as I didn’t live too far away from the store. Oh, and they even delivered the table on a Sunday evening after they closed! How many places have service like that these days? None of this«we’ll be around sometime between 1pm-4pm on a Wednesday» b.s. that most places stick you with. If you’re looking for larger furniture pieces, tables, chairs, sideboards etc, then you should check out Antique Importers for sure. If you’re looking for smaller, more decorative items, then this might not be the best place, but there are more then a few of those shops close by in Pioneer Square.

I just bought an «English pub table» from here. It is made from thick, heavy wood and feels like it will last forever. I really like it. The place has a great selection of mostly all-wood pieces(some with glass or iron accents) and a small selection of random cool things(e.g. old carpenters tools). The owner/manager/shop-keep(not sure his official relationship with the store) is one of the friendliest person-who-sells-things(just seems wrong to refer to him as a salesperson since I don’t generally enjoy being«helped» by salespeople) I have ever met. This is only the second piece of furniture(i.e. folding tables and outdoor shelving don’t count) I have EVER bought in my life, but stores like this inspire me to actually furnish my home.

Cavernous store filled with antiques and vintage pieces of all sorts. They tend towards the more ornate school of furniture design with lots of carving and bevels. This can look nice but since most of the pieces will need a thorough cleaning and polishing to get them to really shine this may take a bit more work than you are willing to put in to your furniture. The glass is nice, but kind of pricey, however it’s not like it’s mass manufactured so you gotta appreciate the uniqueness of it all.

Quaint little store with a specialty… antique stained glass. There are many beautiful stained glass windows and doors to be picked up at a good price. The furniture is more vintage than antique, but there is a decent mix of both.
