Stopped in last weekend because friends said it was good. We liked it so much we decided to join the wine club. The small bites were delicious. Wine choices were nice. The chairs could be more comfortable, but we’re willing to work with it.

So yummy. The wine is fantastic… Had a flight and loved all three. And the food was delicious. A perfect pairing to the wine. Will go back for sure! Love!

I love this place! The atmosphere is charming. They do a wonderfully job selecting wines for the montrly tastings — I love how the wine list is constantly changing. Wines are priced quite reasonably and the food is great.

The new menu at Capri is unreal! The duck confit slider was very tasty and the homemade fingerling chips were really amazing! The burrata is my favorite thing on the menu. Capri’s rotating wines by the glass are always new and keep us trying new things. The best part of Capri is the staff. They know their wine, and keep this local place fun and intimate. Great place to meet friend for Happy Hour or to have a nice quiet bottle with your date.

I LOVE this place! I have worked in the wine industry for a couple of years now and the selection here is great! I must say that I wish there was MORE to chose from selection wise, even if only a couple more things. I went in to look for a Washington Cabernet Franc, they unfortunately didn’t have it, but someone helped me find something else! JOINTHEWINECLUB!!! Best deal they have! Great discounts on food AND wine! The prices are also AWESOME! The mark up is only a couple dollars more than retail stores, but they make sure to only have great stuff on the shelves, if you buy from here you won’t be disappointed!

Wonderful experience! Prices, VERY reasonable(Including the corkage fee. I don’t know why some idiots complain about such a thing. LOL!) Ambience, beautiful and quaint. Service, FANTASTIC! Selection, one of the BEST in the area!!! The manager, Kristen and the owner, Michelle, are definitely a cut above! WILLDEFINTELYBEBACK!

Capri Cellars is just lovely! I found the staff incredibly helpful and attentive. I went with a living social coupon and I will definitely be returning. We didn’t have any of the food, but saw some with some other people and it looked and smelled wonderful! I see that some of the other reviews complained about the bill not being itemized, but the owners must have listened to this complaint because our bill was itemized and our server asked if we had any questions about the itemization. The wine selection was excellent. I did a 6 wine tasting and I was able to choose the wines I wanted, or didn’t want. The server took the time to answer my questions and explain some fun facts about each bottle. The prices are a bit high, but I feel like it was worth it. I have already recommended it to many friends and would recommend it to anyone that wants a great glass of wine in downtown Issaquah!

BUYERBEWARE: $ 20 corkage fee on all wines that you buy INTHISSTORE and have opened there. Staff will not alert you of this charge until AFTER the bill arrives. \We got surprised on this after being presented with a lump sum bill which did not itemize our tab. That is right, the staff presented us with one bill that just stated the sum total price(over $ 200.00) and no line items. What kind of establishment just drops a $ 200+ bill on your table with nothing listed? When we requested an itemized bill we found there were corkage fees as no staff member had declared this to us when we bought the wine. Nasty surprise, no thank you. The intent of corkage fees is to allow customers to bring their own wine on site and partially compensate the business owner for this liberty. In this case, the wine is being bought at the establishment so a corkage fee is double dipping in the consumers wallet. Not telling customers about this corkage fee results in an unwelcome surprise at the end. The actions of the staff ALMOST make it seem they were hiding this fact from teh customer

Capri Cellars is a fun wine shop, where you can do more than buy a bottle. Capri Cellars has a seasonal tasting menu, various wines for purchase by glass, and wine/cheese pairings for two or four(watch for the online deals). They happily accommodate gluten free diets with many items on the food menu. They also have a wine club where you will receive wine releases from a variety of wine makers on a monthly basis. Capri always has something going on, from wine maker dinners to high end wine tastings. The only thing I’m not clear on is their menu pricing. For example, they have happy hour, but I’ve never received the happy hour price for wine pours… Come to think of it, I’ve not seen anything eligible or advertised outside of the notice it exists in their email blast. Also, the last time I purchased a bottle(or three) I was told there is some kind of points system, but I have no idea how many points I have or how to use them. Even with these minor kinks, I’m a fan!

Wine selection OK — prices OK. Location — great — if you live in Issaquah. I really would hope they would do more for their Washington wine selection. But that’s just my preference. Went to a «tasting» event there — they charged for a tasting fee even though another winery was pouring. Fee is credited towards wine but required a purchase. Seriously?! Read the response from the owner — they will be penny rich and pound poor. Besides, the distributor was paying for the wine so I don’t even think they were on the hook for it. Cheap-o. Wineries do this for giving away their own wine, but wine shops should not and do not. Pete’s(Bellevue), Seattle Wine Company(Bellevue), World of Wines and Bevmo(right up the hill) do weekly wine tastings, never charge. Same day, I headed up the hill to Matthew’s Thriftway for a tasting(5 minutes away) — and food was included. And of course, no fee or pressure to buy. That was a turn off.

I’m possibly the worst patron ever for not updating this sooner! After writing my review, the owner Michele reached out to me in an attempt to make-up for their previous service. I was treated to a complimentary flight for myself and 3 of my friends along with some snack trays. Now that I’m officially off my wedding diet, I can’t wait to go back and try some new wines!

I was so excited to learn that Issaquah got a wine bar! That is, until I went there. The staff is not friendly at all and doesn’t seem to really know there wine. Not to mention all the wine that was for tasting was all Washington wine. Very disappointed and will not go back.

What a great surprise in downtown Issaquah! On my first visit I was surprised at the atmosphere — cozy, comfortable, stylish. It was the type of place where I could enjoy comfortable seating, friendly service and good food. Their food offerings are limited but what they have is tasty. The wine flight I had was great! I felt like the prices were very reasonable and it was nice to try a wine and then be able to buy it when leaving. I just wish they stayed open later and then I’d try to give them 6 stars! Overall, it’s a nice place to go to visit with friends and a delightful change from the usual offerings.

The staff are super nice and make you feel comfortable and welcome. The interior is beautiful and has a lot of spaces to relax with friends. In the summer they have outside seating. The wine club is a great deal and has fun events. We have loved all the wine that has been chosen for the club. The food is also very good and great quality!

A modern feel with old world charm… I happened upon this lovely place via an Amazon local deal… Wine & Cheese Experience for two(a $ 50 value for $ 25). Not only was the service friendly and knowledgeable, the pairings themselves were unique and tasty. I wouldn’t have thought to pair an Italian red with a creamy blue cheese but it totally worked! Also the marcona almonds served with the cheese were delightful. As usual, I always have to check out the bathroom facilities of any establishment and I’m happy to report that theirs were clean though somewhat sparsely decorated. One thing that struck me as odd was the placement of the fireplace, which wasn’t really in the center of any particular seating arrangement. However the entire space was well set up with plenty of seating and without feeling too crowded or cramped. Though the wine collection wasn’t huge, the variety and choice of what is in stock is excellent, with great attention paid to Washington and Oregon wineries. Over all, great value for the money. I’d definitely come back for another tasting!

Stopped in here with some friends to try some new wines. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and leather couches. The owner was there, and she was very knowledgeable about the wines. The small bites were delicious with the flight of wine I tried. I’d love to go back and try more wine! :)
