Love this place. Have had several of there dishes. on takeout. At least 10+times now. Basil chicken is great, garlic chicken wings, Special fried rice. Im easy. Ive ate at alot of places. Its not a 5 star type… Not even close to deserving the 2.5 star they have. Its a solid 3.9 ;)

So far I’ve tried eight dishes which were all very, very good. My favorites are the Kung Pao Delight, the Thai Basil Fish, and the Salt and Pepper Tofu … delish!

Best ever! Thai basil fish was a standout. So full of flavor! We had several dishes and they were all great. Fast friendly service too.

End up at this please, took forever to take order and brought plates which were dirty, still wet and disgusting, we had to cancel order and leave. Guy you need at least change plates and clean it.

We came here for a celebration dinner. Our server was rude and made one of our guests say please after ordering a drink. I ordered gluten free and it was not and now I am extremely sick. Then they tired to tell us we didn’t pay enough gratuity. Probably won’t ever be back, which is sad because we used to love this place. Awful experience and it was supposed to be a celebration.

Never again. Service is awful, food is even worse. The mu shu was incredibly salty and lounging in a pool of oil. Seafood is not fresh, and the owner called us out when not every member of our party ordered an individual dish.

3.5 — I was here once again for another baby party with a buffet style set-up. Btw, Chan’s Place will reserve the entire restaurant for a private party if you have that large of a guest count. The service is still great and very friendly. There is one waiter who deserves a special shout-out. Although i don’t know his name, he is so jubilant and courteous. He seems to truly enjoy his job and interacts well with the customers. I tried a couple new additional dishes this time… other food items are described in my previous review. — Garlic Green Beans: Most of the beans were pretty crunchy and had a pretty strong garlicky flavor… although they were more on the salty side. — Peppery Beef: The beef was alright, but found it also pretty salty rather than having a black pepper flavor. It was mixed with green /red peppers and onions which added a nice crunch. — Ma Po Tofu: The sauce tasted lightly peppery, and had pieces of minced pork. It was okay but I probably would not order it. — Salt and Pepper Fried Fish: I’ve mentioned this previously, but it’s one of my favorite dishes here. The fish is delightfully crispy and the flavorful garlic/pepper topping is perfect. People always forget to scoop up that crumble with their fish! Even though that’s what provides all the flavor, it always seems to go to waste… what a terrible sight.

Food was too salty; I almost could not eat it. I spoke to the waitress and she agreed the food is too salty there. However, she claims their customers like it that way. She said I could ask for less salty in the future but I am not sure that would work out since sauces, soups, dumplings, and other items are typically made in the morning and can’t just be changed for one order. After eating there I had to drink a whole liter of water I was so thirsty from the salt. The décor was nice and portion size good. Prices are also reasonable. Food would be good if it wasn’t for the salt.

This is one of the few places left that will serve what the 1950s white Americans thought was Chinese food. Gloppy sauces, technicolored meats, and cabbage egg rolls. And I commend them for it. Growing up Chinese, I wasn’t allowed to eat this kind of food because why would I eat msg laden Kung pao when my mom could make me legit Kung pao in ten minutes? Growing up in Klahanie though, I was the only one who didn’t eat there and argued incessantly with my classmates about the fake Chinese food vs real Chinese food thing. That said, this place is a Klahanie institution and was there when we didn’t have any type of Chinese food at all in the area. And that says something. Also their General Tsos, whoever he may be, is pretty tasty.

A good friend took me here 4 years ago and I make the drive from Lacey when I’m craving their orange chicken. It is always fresh and delicious each time I visit. Thank you, Ryan, for introducing me to the best Chinese restaurant in Washington. I’ll be a frequent customer once I move to the East King County area soon. If you are near Issaquah, check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

One of the best Chinese food I ever had. The server were very courteous. I ordered a house speciality with my real estate broker and just could not stop praising the food quality.

Food is a bit high priced for the quality you would expect. I’ve done takeout 3 times here, and I have sat down here twice. I like to give places a chance multiple times before giving a negative review… But the Orange Chicken I got, was all bread. Low quality chicken. Soggy. Small amount of rice(charged separately) And the people in attendance have always negatively commented at the end. Unfortunate, but the truth. As far as managemment and all that, I’m not too sure. But for the food, 1 star :/

This place is clearly NOT open: we checked the hours before leaving, no signs(of people) or lights on, and why does my Unilocal say open now and BFs Unilocal says open in 4min and we are sitting in the same car? The food wasn’t horrible before but certainly not worth the 15min drive«over the river and through the woods» — will have to find another Chinese food place close to Fall City.

We been here a few times, the food is okay at best, but not outstanding. The last time we were there, the place is empty, and the woman in the front told us we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. It was ridiculous. So we left, and will not return. We headed to Chinoise in the Issaquah Highlands, where the service and food is so much better!

Good service, decent food, good atmosphere. The food isn’t too salty and they are always are very polite. Nice little bar if you want some friendly conversation.

Not bad but not great either. I remember when this place first opened it created a lot of buzz in the area! The food was good and the waitstaff were excellent. But on a recent lunch trip there things were really different. The food just wasn’t the same — the rice seemed greasy and the chicken was just drenched in sauce. The waitstaff were plentiful but just not very attentive. The man with the water pitcher came by to refill the glasses frequently though. The wait was short, we were seated quickly and the host was very friendly. The décor is beautiful and has a unique feel to it– almost like you’re dining outside under a pergola. The bathrooms are nice and exceptionally clean. Not a terrible place at all, but not one that I will be eager to return back to anytime soon either.

Sunday night fairly slow inside the restaurant and yet it take the waiter 10min to come over and ask if we are ready to order. No how are you doing tonight, or can I get you any drinks? Three stars for ok food and for the bus boy keeping our water glass full.

I wish that there was an option to not give any stars. We had a very RUDE server, down right MEAN. The tea tastes like desitin diaper cream(and yes, I got some in my mouth once, and take my word for it, YUCK). The food was average, that is the food that was served warm. The rice was nothing impressive. Will NEVEREVER go there again.

If I could I would give this place a negative star. Chans is HORRIBLE not to mention the smells that come from the back of the place smells like maybe something died. I have spent enough time around Chans to tell you there really and I mean REALLY might not just be chicken in your General Tao’s Chicken!!! The running joke is «I hope you like the Venison» ;)
