Just visited this park today. I found it to be well maintained, although a little on the small side. My dog loved running around and appreciated the water fountain at the bottom. I can see it being less enjoyable if a little busier as there is nowhere for humans to sit. However, that also makes it harder for irresponsible dog owners to ignore their dogs!

If you live in this neighborhood and have nowhere else to go then this is better than nothing. The park is small, does not have double entry gates — in fact, the lower gate was open which we did not know since we were new here. This park is definitely not one to go to in the winter or rainy season — it has big muddy areas and my dogs were covered in mud. Dogs will get dirty at any dog park but this was way over the top. The other dogs there were all over 45 pounds and a bit aggressive. I had to watch out for my dogs since their owners were not paying attention. Also, dog poop everywhere –which is distressing for such a small area. Robinswood small dog park in Bellevue is a better option if you have a dog smaller than 45 pounds that is easy going(like mine)

Really nice dog park. Fully enclosed and I didn’t find any messes from other dog owners. I also didn’t see the«No pit bulls» sign. Maybe they took it down? Definitely coming back.

«No Pit Bulls Allowed» — Seriously? You can bring your ***hole German Shepard or Boxer, but not a well behaved Pit? Offensive. No double doors, and low fence. way better choices out there.

Besides the gross land mines left by irresponsible dog-owners, this park is fine. It’s sometimes hard to find a good time of day where there are other dogs there. But our pup is content to run around in circles by herself too. One thing I don’t like is that two of the entrances do not have double doors. I’ve never been to an off-leash dog park where any entrances or exits did not have a double door in order to keep bolters from bolting(our dog is a bolter). But, it’s a nice walk from our house. And our dog has met plenty of new friends there.

This rich white neighborhood needs to get over itself. I find their«No Pit Bulls Allowed» sign to be disgusting. There are plenty of amazingly sweet and wonderful Pit Bulls and plenty of horrible dogs that are not of the Pit Bull breed. Will never understand breed restriction. Obviously run by stupid people with too much ignorance and hate in their hearts. How about you accepting all dogs that aren’t aggressive. Again, stupid rule!

So I agree with the positive comments about the structure of the park itself. A little small but the dogs don’t care. There just there to have fun. Overall a great place to take your dog. What I found alarming was the sign that says«No Pit Bulls Aloud». Now I don’t own a pit bull myself but I find it odd that they would discriminate against pit bulls as opposed to «Aggressive DOGS». I have two dogs myself but choose to only bring one because my other dog which is a shepard/lab mix does not do well with other dogs. I see plenty of great pit bulls at Marymoor getting along just fine with any dog. I just really can’t support a rule that discriminates on breed and not individual behavior. If your dog is aggressive please make the smart decision to not bring them to dog parks. For this reason I don’t plan on bringing my Boxer back again.

This is in a very good area! However a couple of things came to my attention. One, the fencing is not greatest, so if your kid is an escape artist… be aware! There are holes throughout the fencing and some large gaps in between the posts at the corners. Second, the water station is at the bottom of a steep hill. One of my dogs is a large 13yr old Beagle and it was definitly hard on his joints and then he had to waddle back up. Other than that, weall enjoyed it.

This is an absolutely awesome park and even better view of both Ranier and Baker. There is a small hole on the far north corner that needs to be repaired but overall its in very good shape and there is 2 functioning water fountains there for both people and pets. My only complaint would be to please post a sign stating the obvious that aggressive dogs are not welcome, this to the british family that brought that hairy gray bastard that attacked 3 dogs in 5 minutes, next time he’ll be getting a boot to his ribs.

This dog park is a little small compared to other parks but for the Highlands it’s decent enough where even large dogs can roam around. The split terrain is a little weird with half of it being dirt and rocks and the other half being wood chips. I wish there were more benches to sit on but they do have lots of tennis balls in the fenced area to play with. They also stock the park with waste bags and there is a water fountain just down the hill.

It’s on the smaller side, but it’s close to home! My dog loves running through the long grassy hillside. Having the water fountain down the hill kinda sucks, but etter than nothing!

Decent dog park. Totally fenced in and very grassy. My dog loves grass and the park we usually go to is wood chips and dirt. I liked the split terrain, some flat area and some hilly area. It gives the doggies some variety. Plus the view up there is pretty cool.

The Bark Park is just downhill from The Highlands’ nearby Grand View Park. It is on the small side if you’re used to roaming Marymoor, but my dogs didn’t seem to mind the funky layout(half flat, half sidehill) and the overhead power lines. The water appears to have been turned off for the winter.

This dog park is small, but it does the trick. I like how the bark park has two fenced in areas — one bigger area, and one smaller area for smaller dogs. Most of the times that I have been, I’ve been able to keep the smaller area to my two not very social dogs, which has been nice. The park is also rather hilly, and has longer grass which seems to tire my dogs out quicker than the flat Marymoor off-leash park. Plus, it’s completely fenced in, there’s a gazebo to sit in during rainy or hot days and there’s a drinking fountain for people and dogs.
