Dani is my go to stylist! I always change up my color at usually every visit and she is always helpful and if it isn’t going to work she will speak up and say so! I also have a hard hairstyle and she always does an amazing job! I love how honest and polite she always is. She is very caring and very thorough and she isn’t afraid to try new things! She is absolutely amazing!!!

Got Groupon for Bikini waxings…1^st visit was a waste of money and time. Heather was awful. Happily discovered she no longer works there. I was going to push for a refund on my Groupon BUT ELIZABETH rocked it. Made my first experience with waxing forgotten. She was very professional, had the appropriate tools, answered questions I felt embarrassed to ask.
I highly recommend ELIZABETH for all your waxing needs. She may do other services and if she does would imagine she’s just as proficient in those skills.

I want to start off by saying I love my haircut. The experience at the salon was great, up until the very end. And this is why I am writing my review.
I called up the salon and was able to get an appointment for a color same day. Super excited I was looking for a major change, purple to be exact, and my new stylist was pumped to do something a little more adventurous. I was in the salon for about 3 hours, we had to bleach my hair, then dye it purple and I opted to add a haircut as I desperately needed it.
Upon examining my hair I loved it in the light, a purple tint that I was told would brighten as I washed my hair. The hair cut was perfect and just what my hair needed. I was excited to say the least. I paid my $ 200+ bill after showing off my hair to patrons in the salon and left.
Upon arriving home I came to see that the bleach had stained and ruined my shirt. The top half (and thats not an exaggeration) of my gray shirt was now WHITE with a purple tint. What frustrated me was that after taking off my gown, and walking around the salon, as well as paying for my appointment not a SINGLE person brought up the fact that my shirt was ruined, my stylist, the patrons, no one. No apology. No mention. Ignored it like nothing happened. And my stylist ran out the door afterwards, which I thought was weird but now looking at my shirt I question if that was the reason. I emailed the salon manager, not angry, just disappointed and informed her of the situation in hopes she could prevent this from happening to someone else. I had every intention of going back regardless but I have yet to hear back from her, still no apology, still have a ruined shirt, and my $ 200+ purple hair? No longer purple and its only been a week.
I will not be returning :(

I feel the need to give credit where it’s due. Dani at Salon Blvd is an outstanding stylist. I’ve tried many salons since moving to the area 9 months and she by far is best, most rounded stylist I’ve seen yet. While the other salons were ok, I was never compelled to go back. You really can’t judge a salon by it’s cover. Salon Blvd is tucked away in a strip mall. There is nothing fancy about this place and the inside is very basic, no frills. I really would prefer to pay for results vs ambience anyways.
If like to preface this review by saying I am a stylist but I usually don’t bring that up when I’m a client. I’m not testing them, I just don’t want to make a stylist nervous or be treated any different than a regular paying client. First, Dani started right on time. She took time to have a proper consultation with me about what I was looking for, asked specific questions and even showed me color swatches to make sure we were on the same page. While she was foiling my hair, she was very neat, clean and precise with her work. She constantly checked my hair while it was processing and didn’t rinse my hair until she was happy with the results. This is where a lot of stylist go wrong. I feel like they rinse before the hair has processed all the way maybe because of time and then slap a toner on it to temporary cover up the unwanted tones. The fact that Dani did not need to tone my hair showed me that she let my hair process fully.
She finished my hair with an amazing blow dry. This is something that no one else has done since I’ve moved here. You might have ok hair cut/​color but if the stylist’s
blow drying and finishing skills are rushed or lacking, you leave the salon feeling like you need to go home and fix your hair. Dani took her time drying and styling my hair after I told her how I usually wear it.
I decided after I got in her chair that I wouldn’t mind a trim if she had time even though I wasn’t scheduled for one. She didn’t have time for a trim and told me that after the color was rinsed from my hair. The fact that she did not rush or compromise her work just to sneak in a haircut (to make a few more bucks) says a lot about her as a stylist. To me, it says she takes pride in her work and that she don’t want to compromise the results by squeezing a service in. As a client, I appreciate that and as the client that was scheduled after me, it was respectful of her to stay on schedule.
Dani is younger and a newer stylist but this girl has the skills of a seasoned professional. She is pretty much textbook on her techniques and a true professional in every sense.
I feel like I have won the lotto finding Dani in the sea of salons and stylists in the area. I hope the owner of Salon Boulevard reads this review.
One more tidbit about Salon Boulevard, the commission stylists use L’oreal Professional hair color. It’s is the best hair color line in the industry. (Not the same as in the stores) It’s high end, expensive and luxurious color. They have ammonia free INoA and ammonia free lightener (less damage, no offensive smells, gentle color that delivered the best results.)
Dani is great.

I started coming here after my hair stylist, Elizabeth relocated from a Renton salon. She knows her colors and cuts that best fits your facial features. She is excited to do her job and I admire people like that!

Called on Thursday to get my hair cut. I was told I could come in at 4. I have long straight hair and decided it was time for a little something different. Danielle took charge and went to work giving me my new look. It feels and looks great. I would highly recommend Danielle and Salon Boulevard. Its beautiful and everyone is there for you. I was able to get an appointment the same day I called, always a bonus in my busy schedule. I didn’t have to wait at all, my appointment started right on time, even offered tea or water. I hadn’t had a hair cut in 7 – 8 months and I really didn’t really know what I wanted. But she gave me some great ideas that would work with my hair, clean up the style while I’m still growing it out, and something low maintenance work with my busy schedule. And everyone was really friendly and nice to talk to, a great atmosphere.
Overall I’m happy with my hair cut. I’ll definitely will be back when my hair is a bit longer to get a new style, I have compete confidence that it will be great. The –1 star is because of a little sticker shock. I usually only spend $ 20−30ish, but its was about $ 50ish (after tip) for a cut with was and blow dry. Slightly high for me, but I guess it’s worth it, because I’ll be going back :)

I’ve been having my hair cut by Ashley, the owner, for many years now, (as have my family). Strongly recommended.

If you are looking for a salon in the Issaquah area, I would highly reccommend visiting Salon Boulevard. It is full of experienced staff. I have been getting my hair done by Anya Anderson for close to 3 years now and I love all the many hairstyles I have got! I am so picky but she does great work. I would have to say; her specialty is in color. Her foils are perfect and her customer service is even better.
