This was close to me work, and I really wanted Chinese. I got shrimp egg foo young and an egg roll. The flavor was ok. It wasn’t bland or bad. It was pretty standard. The portions were generous. I got a small which had two patties. The décor is your standard Chinese takeout. It was dated but not dirty. My biggest complaint is you have to pay a fee to use a card if the order is under $ 10.I would go here again, because it is convenient to my work, but I would not make a special trip here.

Work in Itasca and best Chinese food in the area. Great prices and portion similar to Chinatown. No fancy décor but who cares? Quality, taste and service is what I want and get. Always busy for lunch and dinner!

Had not ordered from here for over 20 years. My fav Chinese place(Manderin Bistro) was closed on Monday so decided to order from Sun’s. Huge effing mistake. Ordered 3 hot and sour soups and a large order of Pork Egg Fu Yung. The soup was absolutely horrible. No Hot or Sour taste at all. It was loaded with the correct ingredients but the liquid was not even close. Had to dump in the sink as did my wife and son. Very disappointed in the egg fo yung. No taste what so ever. Should be a pronounced beef base to the taste. Had to break out the beef bullion and mix it with the gravy. This did the trick It became very palatable after that. It will be another 20 years before I go back if ever.

This place was recommended by a friend. I was disappointed with the taste. The chicken fried rice had no flavor. I had also asked them to do the chicken fried five spicy and it was not spicy it all. It will be our last time ordering from this place.

Best Chinese take-out in a long time and this place is right in my backyard. Ordered beef egg foo yung, chop suey, Mongolian beef, three special delight, shrimp fried rice and egg rolls. Everything was very good, with Mongolian beef and 3 special delight over the top! Egg rolls were large and very tasty, crispy. This is now going to be our go to place for take-out. very friendly as well and reasonably priced.

Been looking for a new Chinese place closer to home for when I want to get quick takeout. As with most Chinese takeout places, they don’t spend too much time thinking about making their lobby beautiful. They follow the dumpy, hole in the wall school of decorating like most places. Ordered PuPu platter appetizer, mushroom fried rice, shrimp in lobster sauce, Hunan beef, and shrimp Lo Mein. The PuPu platter I can live without. The egg rolls were great, beef teriyaki was ok but the other items were yech, pretty greasy. However, the rest of the order was pretty good. I really liked their fried rice. Not ridiculously swimming in soy sauce like a lot of places. This was fluffy and tasty. The shrimp and beef dishes were also very tasty and were enjoyed by all. I’m definitely going back soon. Cheers to all

I happened to come here by accident bc I was tanning next door and I am glad that I did. They give you a large portion for small orders and they were done making my order by the time I got done tanning.

The food was so meh. Wouldn’t order again. I’ll judge a Chinese food restaurant by the quality of their chicken fried rice and I was incredibly disappointed. The chicken fried rice was boring and under seasoned, and the tiny chicken chunks were overcooked. The sesame chicken was underwhelming to say the least. It tasted nothing like sesame chicken. It truly tasted like nothing in general. It was so odd. The only flavor I could pick up was cinnamon. And the chicken pieces were not large, white pieces of chicken but small, darker, odd-textured pieces. The General Tso chicken was good. The sauce was sweet and flavorful, not spicy though. General Tso should typically have a kick. And it didn’t come with any broccoli or veg. Everywhere else I’ve ordered this dish tends to come with broccoli. Chicken was the same texture and cut as the sesame chicken.

One of the best decision I have made. Found this place one day and have became a regular instantly. The food is always perfect and there’s always more than I can eat. It’s a really small place that mainly does takeouts but don’t let that stop. The service is very friendly and the food is so fresh. I have tried almost everything on the menu and haven’t found anything that I didn’t like. My all time favorite is the Mongolian beef with their hot sauce. It’s really to die for if you love spicy food. I would literally dip each piece of meat in the hot sauce before I eat it with rice. Writing this review has made me crave for this place… Putting an order in right now

A good Chop Suey place that gives lots of meat. The place is small and dingy with just two tables. However the food is fresh and really tasty and this place is among the better fast Chinese places I have been to in the area.

Got carry out for the 1 st time based on previous reviews… Ordered sweet n sour chicken, beef lomein, egg rolls, crab wontons, and potstickers. Food is terrible and probably the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. The appetizers were all dripping in grease. The sweet n sour chicken consisted of tiny pieces of dried up chicken meat covered in heavy batter soaked in grease… Remaining dishes all had a funky taste which was far from«fresh»…Definitely will not be going back… Search continues for decent Chinese takeout place.

I have purchased carry out 3 times. Rach time has been delicious. The pork egg foo young is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Chicken chop suey had lots of veggies and fresh chicken. Their friend rice is plentiful. Love it.

We have been living in Addison now for about 19 years and my family and I finally tried this place about a year ago. What a find! Everything we have ordered so far has been phenomenal and always fresh.
