I started out with getting my son an acne facial and within days his face cleared up. So I booked a regular massage for myself. It was honestly the best neck massage I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of massages). The facial was great too and very relaxing and my face was glowing for hours. I will for sure go back with my kids as well.

I’m almost nervous to write this review, because I don’t want to reveal this hidden gem. Had my first facial here, and I think I’m pretty much obsessed. Devon is just wonderful and is very good at what she does. Both the Get Pampered and Vital C facials left my skin looking and feeling amazing. Super relaxing little place, wish I could go every week…

I’ve only had a few facials in my life and Tranquility was by far the best! Devon was great and used products that worked specifically for my facial needs. The room was also very comfortable and relaxing. I definitely plan to go back!

The absolute best facials I have ever received and I have been to many spas. Debbie is the best and you will walk away feeling relaxed. Your skin will be glowing as well.

Debbie was great in suggesting the perfect package for my wife’s birthday gift at an affordable price and needless to say, she LOVED it and I was a hero!

In love! Earlier this month I booked an appointment for a microderm/​facial (had purchased a LivingSocial voucher) with Kira. She was amazing with addressing my skin concerns. I initially said I was not interested in learning about products but what she used felt so amazing on my face I had to ask about it. (I’ve had microderm/​facial treatments before) She was kind enough to give me a small sample and my skin has never looked better!
The salon is cute on the inside and beautifully decorated. Even the little «day spa» sign hanging outside is adorable. The music playing was an added nice touch. I was impressed and will definitely return!

I got one of the best facials I’ve ever had here. I’ve gotten expensive facials on cruise ships and posh hotels, but I think this place trumps both! I wish I’d gotten a groupon for the 2 facials instead of just the one.

What a find! I purchased a Groupon for 2 signature facials not knowing what to expect. But it was close to home and I find the big spas to be unfriendly and uninviting. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The spa is so inviting, the lighting was so warm and the smells in the air were so calming. A great friendly staff and Debbie was just amazing. With or without a groupon I will become a regular.

I purchased a Groupon for two signature facials. As with any Groupon purchase, you never really know what to expect but the price is attractive enough to give it a try.
I had both facials and each time, I left very pleased with how my face felt, responded days later and the service I received. In addition to the service, the spa is quaint and nicely decorated.
Debbie does a great job. She really takes time to look at your skin and provides suggestions for future care an upkeep without over selling any retail products she has in the spa. I will be back.

I found Tranquility Skin Spa right here on Unilocal.At the time, I was a few months away from getting married, and of course I wanted my skin to look its best for the big day. On my first visit, I just got a regular facial. Debbie was so friendly and very thorough. She took extra care of problem areas. I explained to her that I was getting married in a few months, and she recommended I come in for one more regular facial like a month later and then three days before the wedding, she recommended I come in for the Vital C Lift facial. I am so glad she encouraged me to do that one. My skin immediately felt so much cleaner, softer and healthier, and it got better each day afterwards. By my wedding day, my skin was glowing! Before I even put any make-​up on, my friends were complimenting me on my skin. I haven’t been back to Tranquility yet, but I do plan on going back in every once in a while. It’s so nice to pamper yourself :)

What a hidden gem! I can’t believe I only discovered this place via a groupon. I was put at ease from the moment I walked in. It is a cozy, calming and inviting atmosphere. Denise gave me an amazing pedicure and no-​chip manicure. Debbie is the first person who consulted me first before asking how to shape my eyebrows. I am so pleased with the results with all three services and plan to return regularly.

About a month ago I had a girls night. Debbie and Maria came to do facials and massages. We tried to turn our garage into a spa which wasn’t working out very well till these girls showed up. Not only did they have their facial table and massage chair, but they had a room divider with sparkly lights, a table with their products and candles that filled the air with a nice spa/​girly smell, and they even brought the perfect spa music. I was so worried about how this garage was going to work out but they had it all covered. The massages were wonderful! Just watching will make you melt. A lot of girls got these and they haven’t stopped talking about them! I got a facial which I loved! She even gave me advice on my skin. Debbie and Maria were so nice and fun. They came not knowing what to really expect because we have never met and I couldn’t guarantee any girls would want their services. They totally worked with it and our party wouldn’t have been what it was without them. They even pulled a name (from the girls that got massages) at the end of a night for a bag of goodies form their spa. They were also giving out the cutest nail files! I had a table of goodies (bath salts, bubble baths, spa socks, spa masks) for my guests to take home; they added the nail files to the table so everybody left with one. That was really nice surprise, everybody loved them. These girls came with everything a spa needs and even goodies for my guests! I couldn’t have asked for more! I can’t wait to have them back next year!
I went into the spa a few days ago to get a mani/​pedi and eyebrow wax. I’ve driven past a few times and never noticed it. It looks really tiny from the outside but when you go in its really nice. It feels like a high end spa but with reasonable prices. The pedicure was amazing!

For our 10 year anniversary, my wife and I got a 60 minute couple’s basic facial that included massage of the face, neck & shoulders. The atmosphere and room was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly. We liked that we were not pushed to buy a bunch of products, allowing us to just enjoy our little spa experience. This is the first time I’ve ever gotten a facial, so I don’t have much to compare with. But the atmosphere was very relaxing and I actually fell asleep a couple of times.
If you want to have a couples massage or just go and have a spa day with a friend, this is a great place to go.

I was looking for spa services to treat myself for my birthday and came across Tranquility Spa. What a wonderful place! So cute and relaxing, I just love the spa décor, and owner Debbie was very nice. Personally I prefer a place like this to those busy spa chains. Debbie gave me a stellar facial (it was great that the extraction wasn’t painful, but I was a little disappointed in the results). Still, I would go back for another one. It was very relaxing and my skin felt great afterward. I loved how knowledgeable she was about what ingredients are good for various skin concerns, and she didn’t try selling me on any specific products. I also had a massage with Maria — it was okay, but not the best massage I’ve had. She said she’d check in with me on pressure, but she never did. Admittedly, I could’ve spoken up, but I just found the massage to be fair compared to others I’ve had. The price wasn’t terrible though, and if I came back I would be sure to clarify ahead of time what I was expecting. All in all, I really like this place and would return.

Really nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, plus my nails look great! Can’t wait to go back and try a facial.

I was at Tranquility Skin Spa just the other day, what a treat! I used my first time customer coupon for a $ 39.oo facial I am so glad I did ! I have never felt so pampered! My skin looks awesome and I’d go back just for the neck-​rub you get with your facial… Peaceful and Luxurious, all in all a great experience. Tranquiltiy is located on Irving Park in Itasca near the bank but do not let its location fool you; it is a hidden gem. Debbi the owner is friendly and very professional, I felt I was in very compentent hands & I will be back ! Thanks Tranquility.

The minute I walked in I felt relaxed. Tranquility Skin Spa is such a quaint place. It’s not so busy like other big spas. The prices are fantastic too. Debbie knew exactly what I needed and I felt like a million bucks when I left. I already made another appointment and I won’t go anywhere else. I traveled 30 miles to get there and it was so worth it.
