STAYFARAWAY! No sheets on our bed upon arrival, room reaks of cigarette residue, no breakfast option(expect old coffee). They charged $ 250 for two nights!!! We were overcharged and on top of that they tried accusing us of having more people in the room than we actually did, which was a fight for 30 minutes. May as well stay at a Marriott for that kind of price. Also, the management has an awful attitude. No to mention it was in an extremely unsafe area, people knocking on our door in the middle of the day asking for leftover change???

Agree with other reviews: out-dated rooms but CLEAN. Beds are ok. Rooms smell fine, but office smells strong(like Indian incense/oils?).

This place is really a 2.5 star motel but I rounded down. Here’s one thing that shouldn’t be a surprise; it’s not a luxury motel. However, for one hundred dollars a night, you could get a lot more out of it. For instance, it’s a fifteen minute drive into downtown Ithaca, and it’s location is really in the middle of nowhere. Anything worth seeing is a hike. The rooms themselves are mostly clean, however some stuff in the bathroom seemed rusted and our air conditioner was possibly moldy. There was a strange smell coming from it and any time I got to close I would sneeze uncontrollably(I have a bad allergy to mold). Luckily we didn’t have to use it, but if we did I would’ve been livid. The rooms are also very small, much smaller than I expected even, so don’t expect to spread out while you’re here. If all you need is a place to sleep, this might be a good choice for you. If you want something with more charm or ambiance, or more accessibility, go elsewhere.

Looks a little shady from outside, but rooms are clean and the Internet works fine. Paid a little over $ 120 so I felt that it was expensive for a 2 star motel.

Rooms at this place should be $ 49 at best, but the location, just a couple miles up the hill from Cornell, gives them license to steal another $ 80 of your money. As dated and ugly on the inside as the exterior would suggest. Rooms have little to offer except reasonably comfy beds with hideous dated bedding, a 20 inch tube tv and an ugly, but clean bathroom. Of course the shower drain was slow… predictable in a place like this. You can find much nicer rooms in the area, but you will pay for that. If you just want a place to sleep before and after you unload your excess cash in Ithaca, this is your crash pad, über-basic, and clean, but nothing to write home about.

This hotel is a scam. Their presence on hotel booking sites gives the impression they are an Embassy Suite. Their cancellation policy(3 day advance notice) does not allow for you to remedy your mistake because it is so strict.

The Embassy Inn is a surprise. While pulling in to the driveway, it looks like your typical, old roadside motel. One single level, and one two level buildings; with the small office in the front. Looks a little scary at first, but the inside of the office was very nice and clean — something that bodes well for the rooms. The rooms are small(bed, table, chairs, tv and nightstand. Bathroom is the size of a postage stamp. The room has a baseboard heater and an A/C window unit. Most important, clean — very clean.

Extremely clean. The rooms feel large because they aren’t overcrowded by unneeded upholstery like extra couches. Room included two beds, a desk, a tv, and two chairs and a table. Bathroom was plain but immaculate. Some might complain that there isn’t enough room to store clothes… but I always just use my bag anyway. Cannot beat the price either!
