I’ve only been once while visiting for weekend, but definitely will make it a regular stop from now on. We were there mid day between kitchen hours so can’t comment on food. Atmosphere, patrons and bartender are friendly. I was surprised by the tv’s for a dive bar. Walking distance to awesome waterfall. If you’re a dive bar seeker, you must try.

This is such a great place separate rooms for the bar, the pool table, other seating and a game room. What this place is missing is music and bicycle parking [there are not even railings, parking meters or street signs]. Though some of us put in money for the jukebox THIS time, I wouldn’t continue such an activity. It’s much more welcoming to include some music and have an optional jukebox. If they had music, I would be there more often.

What can I say, a dive bar! Bass Ale, mug of Bud Lite and a coke cost $ 7.25…what is this? The 80s???

A tiny slice if heavan. Takes the dive bar concept to exponential levels. Sweet jesus. The memory of my sole visit in raging blizzard(I was the only patron) — was it a dream or was it real? I shall return!

This is truly one of the best bars in Ithaca. Its kind of out of the way if you don’t live in fall creek, but it’s worth the walk. The bar tenders are friendlier here than at any other Ithaca bar. Definitely the most chill, laid back and reasonably priced place to get a drink. Its also great for watching sporting events in a more homey atmosphere than Uncle Joe’s.

Pure, old school, Ithaca. Let’s just say you can go there anytime, I mean anytime(I’ve been there at 8am on a Wednesday) and there’s an interesting crowd, buying each other drinks, and sharing stories. This is what a bar should be. Just go.

Ive traveled all over the country but this is Literally the greatest dive bar in the country. Can’t Explain it. You can be yourself. Drink next to Cornell grad students and Vietnam vets. Everyone comes together and sings along with the jukebox. Some of the funniest things you will ever see happens here. One time a guy fell down while peeing straight in the air. Also have seen a fat lady steal a bicycle and come peeling out in the main bar room. Great place to watch football games on Sundays. About 12 flat screen TVs but the floor hasn’t Been mopped since 1953

My job as a mother is complete. I have taken my child to the Fall Creek House for a burger. Ideally it should be sunset but unfortunately we were there for lunch. The trees have gotten a little bigger since I was in college which obscure the lake view a little bit but it’s all good. The burger is as good as ever.

The Creek House has been there for years and well known to everyone in Ithaca. If you go in on any given night its pretty much old married couples drinking and dancing. They do offer food and its pretty good. I always go on Wednesday nights and play the juke box. There are more locals then students, Its very casual and laid back. They have 3 flat screen tvs for game, a pool table and a wii in the back room for bowling. You can also close off the back room for private parties and the bartenders are very down to earth and friendly especially Laura.

The Creeker! What a dump! I hooked up with a girl named Claudine(so did everybody else) from New Jersey at The Creeker back in ’91-’92! I love this place!

You want a neighborhood bar where the locals go and an acceptable sprinkling of CU undergrads? This is your place. Plenty of parking and just at the bottom of the hill from Gunhill. Country, rock and blues on the jukebox, tv’s on your usual sporting events, pool table and booths with their own bar access. It’s away from the downtown scene an set in a nice residential neighborhood. It’s my favorite! I can walk the two blocks from my place.
