My husband is graduating from Cornell next weekend and as a graduation gift, his parents want to give him a framed photo of campus(soooo hopefully he doesn’t read this review before then…). I asked a coworker if she had gotten anything framed in Ithaca before, and she suggested the Frame Shop. I bought a pre-matted photo through the campus store(not realizing that the Frame Shop also has a selection of Cornell photos for sale) and took it in last Friday. I really didn’t know what I was looking for(we own exactly one other professionally-framed item – the rest of our frames are from Target), but Richard helped me pick out a really nice mahogany wood that compliments the photo, and true to his word, it was done exactly a week later. It looks fantastic! It’s amazing how much nicer a photo can look when you have it professionally framed. And price-wise, I feel like the Frame Shop was very reasonable, especially since I went with the«conservation» glass that will prevent fading. Now I just need to find a place in our shoebox-of-an-apartment to hide this from Alex until his parents arrive for graduation…
