What a great used bookstore tucked inside the Dewitt Mall. It seemed particularly great for German language books and/or history. They didn’t have any first editions that peaked my interest, but I took advantage of the $ 1 – 3 racks out in the front, which had books and prints from old libraries(including Newark Public Library – finding a little bit of Jersey in Ithaca is pretty sweet). The store has a bunch of comfortable lounge chairs, so they obviously advocate sitting down and sampling before committing. Thumbs up. Owner was pretty friendly too.

I go to the Bookery just about everytime I go to Ithaca. DeWitt Clinton Mall is the best. It’s the Ithaca Farmers’ Market of my college years. Well, back to the Bookery. It was kind of expensive for me when I was in college but now I always find something interesting to buy. My friends and I have cooled our heels there for many hours.
