Beautiful little theater nestled in a quintessentially Connecticut town. Tons of movie stars from the 40s 50s and 60s have acted here, including Alan Alda, one of my favorites. We saw Little shop of horrors and enjoyed it very much. The actors were great & sounded awesome!(Musical). Casual environment, relaxed time!

I don’t usually write reviews on non-food establishments, but had to give a shoutout to this little playhouse in Ivoryton! Very nice venue small, and great ambiance! We saw THEBELLSOFDUBLINPARTII: THECAROLOFTHEBELLS. Very funny and got all of us in the Christmas spirit!

Great little local theater! We saw Footloose on 7⁄6 and the actors and musicians were wonderful. We were able to get decent seats the morning of the performance but as other have said, all seats are good because the playhouse is an intimate size. $ 40 was a little pricey, but much cheaper than the Goodspeed, and we found the show quite enjoyable. Glad we gave it a try, and will definitely be going back!

Went here on 6÷22÷13 to see«I’m Connecticut» What a great little theater !! Seating somewhere around 300, there didn’t seem to be any«bad» seats. There is parking right across the street for 5 bucks.

This is fun local theater. The variety of themes is incredible, actors are all professional My wife and I have been to three shows here, enjoyed them all. Wear a jacket or wrap — can get a bit chilly due to A/C. There are no bad seats.

We have season passes this year and are enjoying the shows immensely. Their acting is fantastic, and I have been so impressed with their stage sets. If you go after 6 p.m. to the box office on Thursday night performances, you can purchase discounted tickets at $ 20 for adults.
