half a chicken w; fried rice is my favorite dish. The food is always fresh and delicious. also, their green sauce is slamming. its a must have! The food is not pricey compared to other Peruvian restaurants.

I always passed by this place but never stopped by. But I am so glad I did! I had the ½ chicken with rice and beans and my go had the pork ribs with fried rice and salad. This is one of the best Spanish joints on my block given this has a lot more flavor than the rest. The food was tender and their green sauce is pretty. I reckon it’s better than pio pio. But that’s my opinion. I had beans around this neighborhood and was just disappointed with the lack of flavor. My taste buds are more use to the dominican/puertorican flavors, but this place’s beans were actually pretty good. Fried rice was pretty good too. The portions are even better. The only downfall is they actually charge you 50cents for a take home container to pack things to go. But other than that, I will come again.

The chicken is really good. Very juicy, tender, well seasoned, and the skin is crispy. Price is OK. The staff is not quite friendly though.

This place has good chicken Not very friendly. Needs to be cleaned up a bit. Not a very large amount of food. The value needs to improve.

Dirt cheap Peruvian food… There are so many food options in Jackson Heights, so this may be an easy one to miss. JUSTDON’T MISSIT! It is greasy and cheap and good. If you want healthy food, then go somewhere else. I am giving this place 5 stars because its cheap, they are nice, the food is good, it has a little fusion in it, and they deliver.

Chicken is good, juicy, sometimes dry, ribs are good half the time burnt. Fried rice is dry not the best rice to get, prices go up quality goes down, the service of wait staff is alright, the cashier guy rude, rushes you to order, ignores you, and argues with costumers about questions they have. Overall food is good service is not that great.

If this were in Northern Virginia, it’d be the Casa NOVA. And you could come here and be swept off your feet by «sum yung guy», which is a dish from East Asia that is not sold here. Actually, if I’m here grabbing chicken and using their bathroom as usual, I’ll totally sweep you off your feet if you like. As long as I can carry you. I’m getting stronger. Lots of gym hours. We’ll see. What to get: Peruvian Chicken and Green Sauce What else: If the chicken is white, is that Casa Blanca? I love this little Peruvian place right in the heart of Jackson Heights, my fave neighborhood of any city anywhere in the world. Five stars not just for the great chicken and green sauce, but also the awesome service and lovely bathroom. I love it so much here that I may adopt the mantra«La Casa Es Mi Casa.» The first time I came here was to try the Peruvian Chicken. It was really delicious, but not as amazing as the stuff at nearby El Pollo Inka on Northern, or Caravan in Astoria. So I thought I might not be back. But then when 3 other places refused to let me use the bathroom(or it was out of order), I came back for a second time, and they were kind enough to let me use theirs without any sort of payment or token or key. Awesome. And of course while I was in the bathroom, my name was«La Casa-o-pee-er.» Awesome. So in return, I got another order of their«single piece of chicken with green sauce» which is about $ 5, and isn’t even on the menu I don’t think. They sell them by the quarter, half and whole, but I got less tha a quarter, a snack portion — as usual. It’s really delicious. The skin is so flavourful and spiced and full of marinade and smoky heaven. The green sauce — as is usual with Peruvian places — is dreamy and delicious. If you get the chicken, it’s a must. I like that they don’t just take dollars. They take Casa-or-credit. Not sure if they take checks. I’d have to… check. Ha. Ha. Ha. If you’re craving Peruvian Chicken in this part of town, you could do much worse than checking out La Casa. And also make sure you try El Pollo Inka too. And make sure that if you buy a Duchy here, you don’t hand it to the person on your right. Always, always, always Casa The Duchy On The Left Hand Side.

I love this place. It reminds me of childhood because my great uncle always got me chicken and rice here with the green sauce every time I came to visit him here in NY. This place has been here since I can remember. The green sauce is amazing. Definitely a must whenever I visit this area.

My husband and I came for lunch last week .This place is dirty we saw some roaches under the table. Yes the food is ok but o wouldn’t eat where food is exposed to bacteria. Service sucks as well they give you attitude. Never again I will go to other Peruvian restaurant cleaner and with better service.

This is a delightful rotisserie chicken spot! Not only do they offer a decent variety of plates when Peruvian style cuisine is concern! Their prices seem quite fair when you compare it to other similar style joints(Pio-Pio, Pollos Mario). Their service provided is quite attentive, whether it is one person, or a party of 10 people! However, there are some things thats an oldie, in high demand, establishment would work around; their«Ajil» is a bit lacking in the flavor department & their seating arrangement is more than lacking. Be ready to wait from 15−25minutes jf you attend accompanied by a party of more than 5.

The chicken is seasoned perfectly. Not too salty or too bland. Very inexpensive meal. If you dine in, you get an ample amount of their green hot sauce. Too bad they don’t deliver. I can see myself adding this place to my weekly restaurant list.

Great place for rotisserie chicken Peruvian style. It’s located right by the 82nd st. subway stop on the 7 train. I’ve only been to this place for takeout, so I can’t comment on the dine in experience. The take out numbers are called out in Spanish. I had to think back to my high school days to remember my elementary Spanish, so that I didn’t miss out on my order. I’ve tried the rotisserie chicken, the maduros, and the rice. The Peruvian spices add a very nice flavor to the chicken and the roasting here is done well. Nothing is burnt or too crispy. The green sauce adds a different kick to the chicken. Its pretty addicting. The portion sizes are customizable and ordering everything separately generally yields a better deal than the combos they offer.

Good place to have a nice peruvian meal. The lomo saltado is my favorite! Good service, clean place, nice people. The only sucky part is they only take cash so be sure to have cash in hand! Sometimes the guy at the cash register takes his tip from your change w/o asking but whatever he’s nice so i never asked him why he does that on his own.

The Good: Great chicken lame service. Then again they’re so popular I don’t blame the poor staff that work there. The place is clean. Well aerated and I appreciate the branding effort in their décor. Gripe: They only take cash!!! Grrr. Must try: Their chicken of course !

Our favorite place for the whole rotisserie chicken, maduros(sweet fried plantain) and rice. Over the past year the price had gone up twice, but that’s hasn’t stopped us from coming yet — the chicken is just so good. When ordering make sure you keep your calculation in check cause the guy will sometimes jake the price up or say they don’t sell small sizes when the last visit they did. For take out, make sure to check your order before leaving as well; one time they gave us two white rice instead of plantains. From the last two visits the sauces for takeout was dark green. Weird, but still tasted the same though.

The chicken and ribs were great, don’t get me wrong, but perhaps the fried rice could use some improvement. Perhaps it’s because I’m from Hong Kong and have had fried rice a certain way so didn’t expect this style. The manager seems extremely friendly, but pushy to get us out after closing time. Maybe it’s because Jackson Heights becomes relatively dangerous after… 10 p.m.

Food was affordable and good, but not my favorite spot for pollo al la brasa. Pass on the fried rice.
