The young lady working behind the counter was friendly. My eye doctor was helpful in fitting me with toric contacts, in a professional manner. Make an appointment. They are busy & saw few people just walking in, to try to see the doctor… Since it is a neighborhood place, people don’t think it would be busy but they were busy after 5pm, which is when I visited. #ThankYou

I don’t think the one bad review should tarnish this business either. I was actually very pleased with the customer service.
Before walking into this store, I made the mistake of walking into another store nearby. They called my insurance company and told me I didn’t have any insurance for an exam or glasses, meaning I would have to pay full price. That baffled me because I was pretty sure I had insurance. If I had listened to them I would’ve been ripped off.
I’m glad I went to this place. They have a pretty decent selection of frames to choose from. Claudia was great, she insisted that she take another look at my insurance — I was covered and she pulled out a sheet that explained my benefits. She was happy to pull dozens of pairs from the shelves and worked with me to help me choose the best looking pair of glasses for my face.
Also, this place was packed for an early afternoon on Monday. If it was that terrible, I don’t think it would attract so many people considering there are so many other eyeglass stores close by. They have lots of appointments scheduled, it looks like they do a pretty good job.

This is just to counteract the other bad review. This office was no more or less on time than other doctors’ offices I’ve been to. The doctor’s manner wasn’t totally friendly or warm, but the staff more than made up for it. I had a complicated order and situation with my insurance, and they went the extra mile to help me out.

Made an appointment because I saw they were busy the previous day. I show up right on time.12noon. 5 people are ahead of me for eyeglass fittings. One person for eye test. Sorry, but this is dentist office nonsense. I walked out. Don’t waste your time. There are other opticians towards 82, and one on 84^th… they take the same insurance. I did a walk in. and was home 12:45 at the place on 80^th.

this place is for the birds … not only do i hear that they mess peoples prescriptions ! but they have a tendency to make the customer feel like they are at fault … please if you go there stay away from the young staff especially Claudia. The older gentlemen should be more careful as to who he hires. Their motto seems to be the less the customer knows the better they are ! I hope they see my face every time they mistreat a customer again. I will be monitoring their behavior from now on cause they need to catch up with how sophisticated our neighborhood is becoming
