Such a good option for cheap when you don’t have time to cook dinner at night. Whole chicken is the best. Do not get the sides they aren’t worth it. But it’s the best char broiled chicken you can get around here.

Great quick, easy meal spot. I always get a quarter chicken w/​2 sides (which they are heavy handed to my delight) for $ 8. Really fills you up, is delicious, and worth the price. Chicken is cooked just right, rice is soft, mashed potatoes are sweet and yummy, flat bread goes well with everything, and the green sauce makes it just right for me.
I took away a star just based on the limited amount of seating and no a/​c which can be a killer in the summer.
Besides that, I’ll continue to come grab a bite to eat at this spot. Staff is great as well.

Good food for reasonable price but the main problem is if you are eating here is that they have no air conditioning, big problem on those hot summer days. I would recommend grilled chicken with cole slaw and pico de gallo

The chicken is well baked, and some sides are good. And don’t forget to try the green sauce.

Was really in the mood for chicken and found this place on Unilocal.My bf and i ordered the half chicken half rib combo and a 9 piece buffalo wings. The chicken was pretty good. The ribs were fatty but still good and the buffalo wing we fried and not the saucy ones we were hoping for. Over all still pretty decent, will order again.

Just passed by to have some lunch. Place has been closed temporarily by the Dept. of Health. They just lost a customer.

Does anyone know why this restaurant has been closed for 3 days, I saw a NYS Health Sticker but couldn’t read it as the gate is blocking the notice. The service is horrible and the food isn’t that great anymore. It used to be much better.

For a affordable price, you get tender juicy roasted chicken and two sides, good price and good food. Dine in is little tough since the place is small

The lady behind the counter lied to me just to get a quick customer.
I walked in this store with my girlfriend to this place and ordered a quarter chicken with rice, and a burger with fries to stay. I got the chicken right away, and The lady said the burger will take 15 minutes to be cooked and we said okay. I tried to get her attention a few times and she completely ignored me, and went straight on her phone or to her friends that were eating.
45 minutes later, I asked her when the burger will be finished and she was smiling and trying not to laugh since I obviously already gave her the money and said she doesn’t know when it’ll be finished.
I walked out with no refund as the lady didn’t acknowledge me.
I do not recommend this place if you don’t want to be lied to or have money stolen. I highly doubt the management even cares.

The grill is the first thing you see as you enter the store. Love that the chicken is grilled fresh to order. Mainly come here for the Greek Salad deluxe which comes with a grilled chicken breast which has been pounded out. Pretty big portion of chicken. Only problem I have is with the salad in itself. It’s not consistent on what comes in it. Once it was stuffed with peppers, stuffed grape leaves is missing at times etc…

The name is «American» chicken and the people in there cannot even properly communicate in English?! What a shame!
They completely screwed up the order we placed over the phone. Instead of getting 4 burgers we got 2 burgers, one gyro and some kind of soup! After we went back to return the food, there was no apology, they did not even look like they were sorry! Our dinner was ruined as it took an hour and half to get the food and we had lost our appetite by then! Just PATHETIC! Go there only if you speak Spanish, others aren’t welcome here!

Walked by last week after the gym and couldn’t resist the delicious smell from this little chicken spot. I got a whole grilled chicken to go which came with pita bread and a couple sauces for $ 10.55! The chicken is simply delicious, not undercooked or dried out. There’s a decent selection of sides and a seating area but the space is small and cramped. I probably wouldn’t dine in there but it has been added to my take out rotation.

Ordering went very smooth as well as the delivery. New management has improved service.

Wow the green sauce and chicken is delicious. Great friendly staff and service as a first timer here! Can’t wait to come back

This is the worst place to eat. I ask a quarter chicken, they serve the ass and a half of the leg ! Terrible place !!!

I came here to order take out and it took way too long for the food to be ready. I was stuck waiting in their dark, super hot dining area. I noticed that most of their orders are delivery, which seems to be the way to go.
The food wasn’t too memorable either, so I’m not too eager to come back.

This was our first time eating here. We got delivery last night. The person who took our order was very polite and the delivery arrived in a reasonable amount of time.
Sam had the spicy chicken wing zing sandwich deluxe. I ordered a Diet soda and the sirloin beef kabob with yellow rice and corn.
Sam tells me he liked the fries, but the patty wasn’t what he would call spicy. (He adores spicy food btw.) It also didn’t resemble chicken. It was a preformed breaded chicken patty. He had ordered extra «green sauce» which was, according to him «like tomatillo or salsa Verde combined with the chutney you get at your table in Indian restaurants.» Since 4 tiny dipping cups of it came in the bag, we assume it is included with all deliveries in some quantity.
As for mine? It wasn’t what I ordered.
A) I ordered «Sirloin Beef» and got chicken.
B) The corn was so bland in its own right, that it tasted like the yellow rice it had been delivered with.
C) The yellow rice was the most under-​cooked portion of rice I can ever recall being served. After 3 bites I surrendered and simply couldn’t eat it at all.
D) The chicken itself had seasoning, but was so close to dried out as to be sad face inducing. Lucky for me I keep home made BBQ sauce in the house at all times! The pita bread was fine and plain as normal.
All things considered, I’d MUCH rather eat from one of the local carts (like the one on 82^nd/​37^th ave) where you get the same reasonable prices for bigger portions of better cooked food.

I would say 3−½ stars. Very quick delivery 15 blocks away. Charbroiled chicken is tasty & a break from the other chicken in the nabe. Pita bread is a nice addition. Price is decent.
The sides are the issue. Powdered mashed potatoes, runny mac & cheese, frozen vegetables. If they got the sides up to Boston Market level, I would order from them a lot more often.
