Update-​two days after my review I learned this place was destroyed in a fire. So sad to hear– I trust they will rebuild and get back on the radar. This was for a very brief time, my favorite lunch spot in Jackson…
Menu is Spanish, food authentic, service pleasant. No liquor license but so what. I got so blasted on the hot sauces they offer I shouldn’t have driven home. It’s a hole in the wall, with subtle, third world vibe (Mexican soaps playing overhead on TV); and simple table settings which make it all the more perfect. Clean and warm, yet hidden amidst the strip mall settings of JH, (adjacent to the Restore).
Trust the specials. Tacos are a must. My new favorite place to eat in the Hole.
