If an Alba popped up on every corner of America, Starbucks would soon be forced to return to Pike’s Place in shame. Artfully crafted lattes coupled with a simple but compelling atmosphere create a truly special Café in the heart of Jackson, Tennessee.

We have been waiting for over 30 minutes since we ordered for 3 sandwiches. Slow service, and they ran out of turkey for customers after us. They only had 2 people working at the noon hour, which made the service so slow. My tips for ownership: better staffing during peak hours. You had probably 20 transactions in the 44 minutes we were here, but just 2 people to handle that workload, which at lunch included mostly sandwiches. Also, understand your inventory better, running out of turkey simply doesn’t seem acceptable. Your teammate turn down several customers due to lack of turkey. I see a goldmine in this place, but I can’t believe you are executing at the highest level currently. Hope this helps!

I came across Alba last year when they first opened the last time I was visiting Jackson. Definitely happy to find a little spot of culture downtown. This time I’m in town, I’m glad to see business booming under new management. I love the house drinks menu — I got the Aunt Bee today: honey, vanilla, and cinnamon flavors. Delicious and a tad more creative than the regular coffee. Their iced tea is good and refreshing as well. It’s great to see high-quality Alba brand coffee and teas for sale, like in bigger cities. Ambiance and music is a nice touch as well. We happened to stop by last time while there was live music — two college students playing jazz. It definitely contributes to the relaxed atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back again!
