April Showers

word to the wise do not use this april showers floral shop… ordered a large floral arrngement for a funeral and i was embarassed by what they sent. misrepresented on the site, never again buyer beware!!!

I thought I had ordered my grandparents a beautiful centerpiece for Christmas. Come to find out what I ordered and what was delivered was COMPLETELY different. The centerpiece was nothing like the picture on-​line. Yes, I did say they could make something similar but what I ordered and what was delivered was not even close in quality or price range. I called to tell them how disappointed I was in the arrangement the lady told me she could send a new one over that was filled in more but that it would basically be the same thing! It would have just been helpful if they had called and said they couldn’t make the centerpiece I ordered or maybe if they just made what I paid for in the first place. Their customer service was terrible, I should have read more reviews before giving them my business. I will never use them again, what a rip off!

Working with Audrey was the best decision I made for my wedding! The flowers and centerpieces and altar pieces (EVERYTHING!!!) was perfect. In the first 10 minutes of meeting Audrey, I could tell she understood my vision completely and ran with it. She made such perfect suggestions and the final outcome was 100 times more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. Thank you, Audrey! You are the best!!!

My son ordered his girlfriends prom corsage from here on my recommendation. Even though it was considerably more expensive then where he was going I felt they would give him more personal service. Boy was I wrong. On the day of his prom as he was leaving to go to the house where the limo was for pictures we noticed there was no wristlet to keep the corsage on her wrist. It clearly stated wrist corsage on his receipt. There wasn’t even pins to pin it to her dress not that anyone wears it that way. I took the corsage back to have them add it but they were already closed @ 3pm on prom day! On Monday I called to inform them that my son had no corsage thanks to there mistake but was told the owner was gone for the day. When I finally talked to the owner on Tuesday she stated my son could have store credit. When I stated I thought she should give him his money back and send his girlfriend a small bouquet since thanks to them she had no corsage and I missed the pre-​prom pictures. She said that wouldn’t happen since she provided a product. It was a product that was useless! She even admitted that she was the one that screwed up! I know mistakes are made but this was horrible customer service. You don’t mind paying more if the quality and service are there in my opinion neither was there for my son. We will not be using them again. Wish I could give no stars.

I ordered an item for my aunt’s birthday to be delivered to her house. What she received was COMPLETELY different than as shown in the image on their website. The flowers used were not the same and were of a lower quality than demonstrated on their website. It was such a RIP OFF and waste of money. We will never be ordering from April Showers again

I used April Showers for centerpieces for a friend’s Bridal Shower. The centerpieces were GORGEOUS and the prices were quite fair. I also used their delivery service and everything arrived on time. I will definitely be using them again.

The customer service here was so bad that I will never use them and would urge others to find another florist. My family was sent a sympathy basket after the death of a family member and, while the plant was very nice, when the delivery person rang the bell, I did not hear it. Instead of calling then so I could answer the door, they returned to the store and someone called the house later. When I told the woman that I was indeed at home, she said I could come pick up the plant or they could come back the next morning Apparently they only deliver in the mornings and since we are usually at work in the mornings, they would not be able to deliver it. Thus, I had to go get it.
I would personally be very unhappy to know that someone I had sent a basket to at a difficult time had to go pick it up. While I don’t know for sure, I suspect that a delivery fee was charged and I am doubtful that it was refunded to the giver.
A word to the wise, go somewhere else!

Honestly, April Showers came to mind after I went to my nearby florist and saw they were closed in the middle of the morning on a Friday. I was highly disappointed, and remembered this place.
April Showers is located in one of the older strip malls in Jackson, off of North County Line Rd and Bennetts Mills. It is family owned, and has a decent sized storefront.
Upon walking in, I was greeted by a young girl and her little black lab puppy, all smiles and very friendly. Her mom promptly asked what I needed, and I told her I was on a budget of $ 30 – 40 for a bouquet for my daughter. (She was arriving home after a month long trip around Europe.)
I had a wonderful conversation about the locals, about Labradors, family, etc, while she put together my flowers, which were absolutely STUNNING.
Overall, I was so pleased with my arrangement and service, I’ll probably never go to my «nearby» flower shop again.

If there was an opportunity to give April Showers no stars, it would better describe my experience with them.
I recently was married and used April Showers as my venue florist. Over the course of the year working with them to plan, there were so many red flags — I should have been a bit smarter and started fresh with another, more reputable store. The owner, Audra, was absolutely horrible to work with: she was nasty, curt with her answers, and never accommodating if I had a question or came in to choose our arrangements. She was just plain mean.
The day of the wedding, she came into the venue with her unprofessional staff (loudly discussing irrelevant chitchat and lollygagging instead of preparing the venue quickly before guests arrived). We chose to provide vases and not only did she break some of the extra/‘just in case’ vases, she broke enough that she had to plop the arrangement on the table like pieces of trash. We were very clear about the look of the arrangements, but instead (after she agreed that she could do that arrangement and we paid in full for what we THOUGHT we were getting) she made arrangements that looked cheaper than what you find at the gas station and DID NOT add flowers on the base of the vase exposing the ugly wood bottom. Any TRUE PROFESSIONAL would never walk about from the diaster she made of the venue. If you are so inexperienced to not handle the work, at least be honest so we can find someone who can handle the job (and handle it professionally and kindly)!
Our experience with Audra and April Showers was absolutely disgusting. Not only do I beg future brides to stay away from this florist, I plead that anyone interested in arrangements, bouquets, etc.: GO SOMEPLACE ELSE!
The work she gave was embarrassing. I am still mortified with what she gave us– and not at all for a cheap price!
