I’ve worked with Aspen before and had a good result. When I called to make the appointment, I told the person who answered that I have two furnaces and air conditioners. She said normally it would be $ 199 each, but that she would do one service charge. When the tech got here, he worked on one, and when finished with that one, asked if I knew how their fees worked. I shrugged and explained what I had been told. The tech said that what the scheduler had offered «was not her call.» He then said that he could do the second one for $ 79 «as a courtesy.» I declined. Tech was polite and timely, but I felt this was a classic bait-​and-​switch.
